Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZread, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZread. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZread, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

This entire record is FIRE
Crime and Breakfast are my two favorite Supertramp albums. 🏄♂️
If you liked that, you will love 'Supertramp - Fool's Overture (Official 4K Video)'.
One of my favorite Supertramp songs. I think I say that about every Supertramp song!

Tru Dat!! This album has always been one of my favorites but over the years I've grown to love each song for new reasons.. I think Rudy is my favorite (this year). 😂
I just love any song from Supertramp. Such great group of musicians and vocalists...beautiful work 🎶🎸🎤🎹
This is one of their top songs. Try also, 'Even in the quietest Moments'. Soothing and psychedelic.
The whole album is top notch from start to finish. Other standouts for me: “If Everyone Was Listening”, “Crime Of The Century”, “Rudy”.
Crime Of The Century is THE Supertramp album - and one of the must-hear records before you die.
The song School was released in 1974, the single was released in 1983...
'Crime' just magic from start to finish. Personal best? 'Rudy.'
Hi Shawn.. the album is a concept album…it’s the story of Rudy … this is the first song on the album… “Rudy” is a great song …
One of the greatest prog rock songs from the beast that is Supertramp. They say that Crime of the Century is not a concept album but there are elements of it within, making it similar to the likes of Pink Floyd's album "Another Brick in the Wall". The album has existential, anti-establishment and the quest for self-fulfillment themes and is best listened to from beginning to end. "Rudy", the main character is disillusioned and disinterested in the idea of conformity rather than education in "School"; these feelings lead him to further rebel in "Bloody Well Right". As we move through the songs, shy Rudy is unable to fulfill his dreams and becomes further and further disillusioned with life and humanity, diving into escapism and eventually madness. As morbid as this all sounds, it is meant to be taken in a satirical fashion as a warning to this possibility and to prevent this, humanity needs to concentrate on what is good about us and what we are capable of: Love, compassion, selflessness.
Masterpiece
Definitely had to watch this one! Love growing up with these albums! Even in the quietest Moments, Crime of the Century and Breakfast in America! Soundtracks of our lives! And that’s just one of the Incredible bands of the 70’s!! Please treat yourself…keep the Supertramp journey going!!❤

Don't forget Crisis? What Crisis?
Great choice….. ❤️ Great reaction…..❤️ Great Band……❤️ Life is Good 🫠
Every time I hear this I am reminded why I love this groovy tune. That BASS is so solid. So sweet. Like your take on school, questioning, and respect. Here is quote you might like: “The problem is not that people are uneducated. The problem is that they are educated just enough to believe what they’ve been taught. And not educated enough to question what they’ve been taught.” Unknown Now this makes me think how much you might like 'Gentle Giant'. They have the funkiest, coolest, grooves that are off the wall.
That opening harmonica note sends a shiver down my spine every time. The songs on this album are loosely connected - not quite a concept album, but there are links. This song leads into the next track, "Bloody Well Right" - which you'd probably like, too.
This is one of my favorite albums. For yourself spend time and listen full album with headphones on cranked to 11....
In my top 5 Supertramp songs. ❤Try "Rudy" by Supertramp or Cook with Fire by Heart. I know all the great songs and I'm trying to tell you.❤😅 "EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS" is a great album. "Crime of the Century" is also great. Pick anything off those or any other.😉
THIS WHOLE ALBUM WAS AWESOME SHAWN, MY FAVORITE TRACK WAS ALWAYS ( RUDY ) 😊THE OTHER HUGE HITS WERE ( BLOODY WELL RIGHT & DREAMER ) 👍THIS IS COMPLETELYYYY DIFFERENT FROM THEIR COMMERCIAL ALBUM😮 ( BREAKFAST IN AMERICA ) YOU'LL SOON DISCOVER THAT!
I LOVE that you could not wipe the smile off your face the whole song!!!
My favourite album of all time from my favourite band of all time. The musicians - Roger Hodgson, Rick Davies, John Anthony Helliwell, Dougie Thompson and Bob Siebenberg - are phenomenal but their ability to play multiple and often emphasize somewhat unusual pop/rock instruments (harmonica, saxophone, clarinet) I think too often overshadows their socially conscious and occasionally spiritual lyrics throughout their incredible run of 5 classic albums from Crime of the Century to Crisis? What Crisis?, Even In The Quietest Moments, Breakfast In America and Famous Last Words from 1974-82. Bloody Well Right is the song that begins right at the end of School and features an amazing piano intro by Rick Davies. Too many great songs to suggest off those 5 albums. BTW, I like or love every song on all 5 of those LPs I mentioned. I cannot make that same claim with any other group's five-album run. P.S. A complete joke and travesty that Supertramp is not in the Rock N Roll Hall of Shame, I mean Fame.
Def do the entire album
Man, please listen to even in the quietest moments, and lord is it mine. Talking about journey of sound
One of their proggiest. This whole album is a masterpiece. Have you done Bloody Well Right? The next song on the album, and the songs crossfade in an interesting way.
"Rudy"
My favorite Supertramp song!! Thanks!
WELLLLLL YOU'RE DOING SOME GOOD CLASSIC ROCK MUSIC TODAY LOOKS LIKE SHAWN!👍😊THERE WAS NOTHINGGGG LIKE THE GREAT 70'S CREATIVE MUSIC SHAWN!💯
This song........ LIVE IN PARIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks, Shawn - yes.. about conformity.. kind of like the "Logical Song".. this one happens to be my favorite by ST... (that piano!!) appreciate your reaction!
Great band, great song and great album!!
Totally different, but very worthy is "Asylum," from the same album I believe.
To your point Shawn, keep in mind as you're learning there was so much amazing music from so many great bands in the 70s and early 80s. We could only buy so many albums and the rock DJ's could only fit so many songs in their 4 hrs! It was a great problem for us all to have😊
Such a great band, loads more bangers to mine, keep on the track you will not be disappointed.
Opening song in Live in Paris, the greatest concert I never went to
YAY one of My Most **Fav** songs tho **Logical Song** holds a very special place in my **Heart**
Saw them live in '74, They opened with School. 2 Baby Grands, opposite sides of the stage. Awesome!!!!!
One of eight masterpiece songs from their best album The live version from " Paris " is even better

Just about every song from the Paris album is better than the studio versions, tho they’re great too.
This album came out when I was 11. Really, really spoke to me.
The entire album "Crime of the Century" is a masterpiece. My favourite is the track is "Rudy" and I hope you'll react to it. Basically, the entire album is the story of Rudy who's about how he protests in many different forms and to many people, including his friends, his parents, and his teachers. He becomes dissillusioned from society. In "Rudy", Rudy has been put into a psychiatric hospital because he had a mental breakdown. The song itself talks about how Rudy has been let out and is able to co-exist in society, but is in a constant state of self-crisis. He tries to fit in, but really can't, and the line "He'll soon be back on his train," talks about how he eventually will accept that he will never fit in.
One up their absolute best. Classic! BTW, they used to teach ethics in school. Not So much anymore.
We have created this life to make humans cogs in "THE MACHINE ". We have to conform to be a good cog. I preferred to be the wrench in life's machine. I love thinking outside the box, not always, but feel free to be a free spirit.
For a while teachers were doing better. But then all of a sudden parents started attacking teachers for grooming and other such things. I haven't been to school in 50 years so I don't know but it's hard to believe that teachers by and large are trying to harm our kids. They're actually trying to teach them if all the other BS would just get out of the way.
Great song and reaction
Next one to listen from supertramp is Rudy
This song was so important to my growth as a teen.
A little Pink Floydish. Always a classic band. Love them.
Ah, 1974, I see. Incidentally there's an excellent Robyn Hitchcock song called 1974. Wow this song presaged Another Brick In The Wall🧱
This was one of the songs in **Little Darlings** right?

I was going to say the same thing! Yes indeed, for the summer camp montage (trampoline, canoeing, volleyball).
I'm going to have to go back and listen to child of vision. I don't think I gave it a chance. Peace!
Fire! They were so great live.
They're even better live!
You know, reacting doesn't mean talking during the music, especially when you stomp on the climax of the song with some stupid comment. It's impossible to enjoy music when some dope won't shut up!
Don’t have to respect, but neither should you disrespect your elders. Nice comment on the song’s content Shawn!
What needs to be said here is that in addition to a great song, the recording is emasculate We are talking about just under the level of Steely Dan’s Aja. Great recordings tend to last the test of time.
The sheep sounds mixed in with the kids playing . Be Original, don't follow is the theme

I've had the album on vinyl since it first came out but sorry, I can't hear any sheep in the mix on this track.
