40:49 Now that I'm rewatching with symbolism in mind, I really like this bit. After trying multiple times, walking foward doesn't seem to be working, so trying a different way and walking sideways shows you a new path. The path forces you to be careful and take your time with it's sudden turns, then just before you reach the end it stops you in your tracks with a big "NO" sign on the planks. Since the room is dark, it's hard to tell where the edge is, but it looks like it could be close, so you just gotta take a leap of faith and oh look you made it, great!

This video is my absolute favorite comfort video. Something about the relaxing nature of the game combined with the feeling of having left reality, the music, the beautiful message at the end, and of course Mark's humor make this my go to video whenever I'm stressed or need to relax. I've watched Mark's channel for over 5 years, and watched hundreds, if not thousands of videos. But somehow, someway this may be my favorite. I struggle with anxiety, and I also love math and things that spark interest. This is one of very few videos on the internet that make me happy no matter what I was feeling before. I really like the way that this game does horror. there's just some uneasy feeling about it and once you get towards the end of this game you know there has to be some good ol lore behind it. if matpat hasn't done a theory on this game, it's never too late

I went into this game completely blind, and cried at the end. I still play it every now and then, if I'm feeling sort of stuck in life, or like I've lost control of things. It's wonderful.

I'm just appreciating that he kept the warnings at the beginning in the video. I've seen people not do it and it just makes me wanna scream in a pillow. Because if you just wanna watch a seemingly okay/normal video from your favourite youtuber you don't expect to get a seizure- (not trying to imply I have photo-sensitive epilepsy or anything)

i'vr found that this is a very pleasant video to fall asleep to! calm music, no action or sudden chaos, and just overall relaxing vibes. combine that with how much more chill mark has gotten over the years and viola! the perfect lets-play to sleep to :D

Museum of simulation technology, Portal and Stanley parable to be more accurate, since the major aspect of the game is based on the first one I mentioned. Edit: Apparently, this is the same game made by the same people as Museum of simulation technology. The first one was just earlier version with simpler and more basic aproach. I love those types of games btw.

what I absolutely love about this game is that it's the type of game that humbles the player, because as soon as you THINK you know what's going on, no you don't.

I come back to this video every so often, because it's helped me in the past. I first saw this video when I was struggling with anxiety about eating due to a throat injury, and watch Mark play this absolute mindbender of a game was enough to distract me from the anxiety, and eventually get over it. Thank you, Mark for making these videos, and may you continue to be a great entertainer for all.

I love how Unus Annus has now become an adjective “It’s very Unus Annus in here”

Well, I mean, think about it right? Unus Annus gets deleted, where do they go? Unus Annus now only appears in a person's head as memories and Superliminal takes place in the mind of a person in a dream state. And within the dream state, anything can happen. So, in the dream state, the mind could make the world in black and white and have Unus and Annus appear within the dream state. I have no idea what I said there

This is my comfort game now. If I’m stressed, I play this. The ending really hits me every time. I play it just often enough that I forgot the ending lines.

This game is so underated. It literally feels like coming down from hallucinogens by the end. Ultimate mind fuck

It’s actually a bug in the game, something to do with the area in which the music plays.

Every time Mark says wakey wakey I think “hands off snakey” and I KNOW he knows that reference bc he’s talked abt it on distractible

game: gives a puzzle to mark mark: *completely destroyed the game somehow*

there is a paradox-like thing you can get, it's pretty cool. On the bouncy castle level if you bring the bouncy castle inside the vent, you can get infinitely smaller

This entire game's energy is 'wandering through a really obscure art gallery, getting lost, ending up in some art form of the back rooms, getting un lost, and then continuing to look at art'

Mark playing this games is the equivalent of getting the right answer to a math problem by using the wrong equation

This is my go to game for relaxing whenever I'm able to, and if I don't feel like playing it I just watch this instead. Glad to see how many more people more or less think the same, honestly feel like this game is criminally underrated

All this talk about people being “true fans of markiplier” got me thinking of just how far along mark has come. Very proud of him, very nice Edit: I’m glad my comment became a place for people to reminisce about the markimoo of the past
