It's a shame that pretty much every old form becomes irrelevant as there seems to be little stamina exhaust with the exception of SSJ3. It'd be interesting if each form had its own benefits and costs meaning each one could have some purpose and/or relevance.

Not because the plot needs them to be on par with our main characters, but because of their technique. They could have just introduced the new saiyans as already far more powerful than the ones in universe 7. No clue why they introduced the back tingly thing.

Ssj3 also wasn’t crapped on in GT. Goku was hanging in there with Baby when he had Ssj3. His kid body could only sustain it for seconds. He was even surprised by this showing his adult body had some level of control over it.

@@fridaynightnicktoons6885 yes, but it’s a much closer fight that lasts a lot longer. With a kid body, they only traded a couple blows, and Goku was exhausted. With an adult body, Goku would have done a little better and lasted a lot longer. Still would have lost, but it would be a much better fight.

@@NeonSwordsManFangattack it only got beat when Baby gathered and harnessed the power of literally every being on Earth and transformed into his equivalent of Ssj3. The only other time it was shown was against Baby Vegeta’s Ssj1 equivalent, and it was holding in there for a total of 30 seconds before it spontaneously disappeared due to Goku’s kid body. So the only time Ssj3 got crapped on in GT was by a power haxxed Ssj3.

@@NeonSwordsManFangattack The fully merged Baby Vegeta became powerful than ever by the time he fought SSJ3 kid Goku for the second time. Even though Goku increased his power level from the training, baby was just too strong so it still isn’t SSJ3’s fault.

I love ssj3, especially the dominating presence it gives out when looking at it like “it means business”. Sorta reminds me of a lion looking down at you which is cool considering the hair is like a mane

@@z-man1237 if he could mix SSJ3 with Blue it would probably get rid of the energy drain though, so Blue is kinda useful. Blue has perfect ki control if I remember correctly, it could be cool if they used it effectively.

4 ssj2 fighters don't equal a 4x ssj2 boost because all that power is concentrated in one being, so a ssj3 would still be able to beat 4 ssj2 fighters. He'd still be stronger than the 4 ssj2 fighters because their powers would be separated and wouldn't be counted as a 4x boost.

The 4x multiplier is affecting Goku’s ALREADY condensed power in his body, it doesn’t condense it even more. Plus we’ve been told that teamwork > addition as well, Belmod goes into detail on it when Goku and Vegeta fight Jiren in the manga, both in base form and somehow doing damage to Jiren (he is tired but Belmod makes it clear that they’re only doing that well because they’re fighting together which is more powerful than basic addition) so 4 SS2s would beat 1 SS3.

Actually Goku (and Vegeta) fought Buu because he knew that the kids were powerful enough to beat him. He wanted the opportunity to fight Buu himself - that's why he and Vegeta ignored doing Fusion, and teleporting the kids into the Kai planet

The reason 1+1+1+1 doesn’t equal 4 in Dragon Ball is because when the power is inside one person it is condensed into a smaller point. Imagine pushing 1 nail with 10lb of force vs pushing 4 nails with 10lb of force.

@@micahbell4881 remember how in the fight with Raditz, Goku and Piccolo couldn’t hurt him at all with their standard attacks, but with the Kamehameha and SPC, they could’ve easily done major damage to him? It’s the same principal here. 4 SS2 Gokus or Vegetas wouldn’t be able to seriously damage Buu at all, but pour all that energy into one being, and you’ve got someone who can content with Buu. It’s gathering energy into a single point and magnifying it.

Toriyama in the manga: buuhan is the stronger then kid buu because buuhan is buu with ultimate gohan and piccolo and goten and trunks power combined together but kid buu is more dangerous then buuhan because he lost his sanety and he only surch for chaos and destruction. Toriyama in the anime: 1-2=3 change my mind

I still say buuhan was strongest, the only reason I believe kid buu was the most "dangerous" because he was uncontrollable or wild, which in a way can considered more dangerous that all said, that also include the point on why didn't goku fight buuhan when he arrived again on earth with the patora

Your right Buuhan is stronger than Kid buu only because Buuhan absorbed gohan and the others, Buuhan is the strongest transformation for Majin Buu, but Kid buu is the strongest form of Majin buu.

I really don't get how people believe a full power kamehameha would have killed buu. How many times did he get obliterated by a blast? Final explosion completely vaporized him. He still regenerated with no damage. The spirit bomb is specifically designed to kill beings like him so I believe that's the reason it was used. This isn't cell he needs to rely on the survival of a nucleus. Buu is pure evil magic. So an attack that targets evil energy is exactly the ability needed.

The thing I'm wondering is this: When Goku turns SSJ3 before Fat Buu, this shakes the entire Universe 7 and can even be felt in the Kaioshin Realm, and yet that seems to be the first time this happens. Why didn't every prior time Goku practiced in this form in the afterlife do that?

One of my big problems with Super is that all of Goku and Vegeta’s transformations are visually basically either their base form or their ss1 form with different colored hair & aura.

You should take into account that in Namek arc if your power lvl was 30000 and your enemy is just 25000 you can one shot him with a punch to the gut if you were serious .. So a 4 times above ssj2 is a big deal .. Imagine 4 final atonement exploding at the same time .. One was enough to turn fat buu into pieces

Akira Toriyama changed his mind. Gohan was meant to be the main hero, but fans wanted Goku to get the win. No different than when Toriyama changed the main threats in the Cell Saga from an old man, to a pair of teens, to finally Cell. & even then, his forms kept changing cause his editor was against the idea until he was satisfied. Toriyama then admitted his editor helped him improve his work instead of staying with '1st draft' content.

I always liked to see transformations like this Super Saiyan: the first version and the least stamina/ki consumption Super Saiyan 2: A mastered version of super Saiyan, where you use the full potential it has without increasing consumption too much Super Saiyan 3: *All or Nothing* Really high power consumption, gives you incredible power for a short time if you have multiple battles or a long one this transformation will not work you'll be out of power before your enemies are dead. sadly Dragonball suffers heavily from power creep, old transformations aren't used since the only difference between them usually is just how much power they give you

Honestly I like the writing of how SSJ3 is difficult to maintain. It keeps the transformation fresh when we don't get to see it all the time. Kinda like Ultra Instinct.

All aspects aside super saiyan 3 is a badass form. I remember as a kid I used to collect some of the dragon ball z cards from Japan and one day one of the rare holofoils I got was ss3 Goku vs janmeba and this was before the cell saga was at an end in the States. And when the moment finally came when Goku went ss3 on Toonamis DBZ I flipped it was awesome. I'll always remember getting that card. Thanks Scholar for taking the time to prove that ss3 deserves the credit it needs.

This channel is literally the Dragon Ball Education University. Personally, it's the best source of Dragon Ball education, definitely more so than the wiki fandoms.

The official Goku reason is that it ment for the afterlife not the world of the living so there that. On the real world side they said 3 was too expensive to animate...

Super Saiyan 3 is actually a great form for it's time. It' was just really unlucky that its first on screen opponent was Buu. Super saiyan 3's stamina drain against Buu's stamina and healing ability just tipped the scales in Buu's favor as Buu's main tactic was to just keep healing himself until Goku or Gotenks's bodies were strained over time. Against anyone else this form would be a good match up. Like if you scaled say Freiza or Cell's power levels up to Buu's Goku or Gotenks could feasibly win if they went all out from the start and just kept wailing massive damage on them. The problem wasn't entirely the form, but that also, Buu was the big bad during its time. Super Saiyan 3 is just not the best against an opponent who's main ability is to stall out the fight till the opponent tuckers out. Buu is just not like other fighters. Any attack that fails to kill him is just a waste of time and energy, you got to kill him in one shot.

I loved the idea of the form, you need something done quickly and this form did it. And since it's so draining he couldn't just use it for every fight it was reserved for those who TRULY needed to be beaten quickly. Then Beerus came and made it a Yamcha

They official SSJ boost is 50x right? But we have confirmation that these forms can be mastered and can offer a bigger buff. It makes sense the forms are stronger than originally stated. It’s not like Tori even follows his shi anyways, he be saying shi so that the interviewers can leave his ass alone home with his fam😂😂 can’t even blame him🤷🏽‍♂️😂.

I always think of the forms now such as SSJ as not 50x base, but *at least* 50x base since they can power up after transforming, probably after mastering the form of course, like with Mastered SSJ. SSJ2, *at least* 100x base, and SSJ3, at least 400x base. But the numbers themselves like 100 and 400 can definitely be higher but "at least" is how I treat the forms now.

@@DragonRyuken777 personally, I'd say basic Super Saiyan is 50x boost, SSJ Grade 2 is 75x, SSJ Grade 3 is 85x with a 0.75x change to speed, while SSJ Grade 4 is 100x. SSJ2 is 250x, SSJ3 is 1000x. I say this because of the MASSIVE difference each form made in their respective situations, other than Grade 3.

@@xxdagrimreaperxx5803 We don’t know for sure, a lot of people start using PLs to calc an approximate estimate of the total boost but who knows what exactly it could be, since Tori stopped using them, it just gets harder and harder to tell, we can’t exactly go like “oh well if at 8k you can blow up a planet at 16k you can blow up 2 planets” because 1. That’s the obvious and 2. PLs are exponential, at 16k it’s likely someone is Multi-planet level. At like 200 PL Roshi blows up the moon yet at like 300 DK Piccolo is stating he could blow up the planet. Like it’s just ultimately useless to try and tell but of course, just knowing that it’s not just 50x helps us argue a little more closer to the truth (in or out of a debate). It just does suck we don’t have an exact source (although proven) because you’re 100% going to find someone that goes: “oh bu-but it’s stated its a 50 times multiplier so stop using headcannon re***rd”. Its just sucks tbh.

@@AnimeVerse_ not true, you have things like Rosè ssj3 or raging legendary ssj3 from the promotional games. They could focus on improving the current forms. Like ssjB is literally just god super sayain. So why no Goddly Blue 2 or Raging Azure SSJ3. Or something similar. I get the meta is god forms now. But he still has other forms to mix with the god transformation he hasent yet. He’s done super kaioken which is a throw back to other world tournament. But as far as progression he’s stammered out because he refuses to mix forms or experiment. He found kiokenBlue and was like. That’s the way. When it’s not.

I love SSJ3, it's probably my favorite form right next to mystic. I especially like how it looks on Gotenks, and surprise surprise, he's my favorite character right after krillin.

I hate how 3 is now practically useless. I always thought when Goku mastered this ssj form he’d be unstoppable, but no he gave up on it altogether. (Unfortunately we all know it’s because the the artist don’t want to keep drawing his hair.)

The only way it makes sense in the anime that kid Buu is the most powerful Buu is that Goku underestimates him as he made statements that super Buu was more powerful than himself. Or he got an asspull power-up, but he also loses to Buu after a while.

Super Saiyan 3's one of my most favorite forms.

Apparently they just came out recently and stated buuhan was the strongest form of buu. Maybe kid buu is the strongest pure buu tho, as he was more dangerous. And while i love super saiyan 3, and it is quite powerful, the main story DOES kinda shaft its usefullness compared to the previous 2 forms, at least in the manga and series. Usually its the new form that is usually the deciding factor in the big fights at the end, such as kaio ken= vs. Vegeta, ssj vs. Freiza, ssj2 vs cell. But when ssj 3 comes into play goku uses it as a stall tactic to keep fat buu occupied while goten and trunks get their shit together, even worse, goku states he coulda defeated buu right there but choose not too because he didnt think earth should be saved by a dead guy. Same thing was considered in the final fight against kid buu, but he stated he wanted vegeta to "have a turn". And because of the negative drawbacks and buus limitless energy reserves, ssj 3 was only ever successful in stalling buus rampage. I believe ssj 3 could have defeated buu on both counts, but due to the weaknesses of the form, goku would basically have to get super serious and basically killshot right from the get go and not waste time as ssj 3 power is at its peak right after the transformation and depletes constantly after that. Which would unfortunately totally take goku entirely out of character because the plot of dragonball z states he enjoys the thrill of battle, he would never want to end a fight THAT quickly. It would be transform, killshot. I will say the movies made MUCH better use of the form as it was essential to the initial victory against janembas fat form, and was also essential in defeating hirudegarn with the dragon fist.

tbf it's almost immediately obvious that kid buu is weaker than super Buu too. Growing up I had assumed all the Buu forms were more or less equal and Ultimate Gohan was roughly a SSJ4 level. Destroys Super Buu who fights equal to SSJ3 Gotenks (who is stated as stronger than SSJ3 Goku) Im not even sure how the video creator can justify anything else

Kid Goku at the end of the King Piccolo arc is Stronger than Omega Shenron When SSJ4 Gogeta launched the big bang Kamehameha, it did nothing to the city, meanwhile King Piccolo destroyed a whole city with a Saiyan saga spirit bomb sized attack, Gogeta beat up Omega Shenron easily, Goku beat up King Piccolo easily, thusly, Kid Goku is stronger than Omega Shenron

Namek 1st form Frieza is stronger than Kid Buu. When Kid Buu destroyed the earth, he had to use his entire hand. Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta, which is said to be ten times greater in gravity than that of earths, with only his finger. Thus, Namek 1st form Frieza > Kid Buu.

This reminds me of someone who thought Dragonball was full of Not even Light Speed Planet busters who act like they can destroy more and anything else is an outlier or explained by something I don't even remember the post except Zamasu capping apparently in the manga so I guess maybe it's only manga they are going by but... We did went down that line. Ssj2 was supposed to be the true successor of Ssj. Whereas Ssj Grade 2 (used by Vegeta against Cell) and Ssj Grade 3 (used by Trunks against Cell) were illegitimate successors. Ssj2 was the form that increased your power and speed dramatically with no additional drawbacks. Back then, it wasn't even called Ssj2, it was just mentioned by Vegeta as Gohan truly ascending Super Saiyan for real.

That was great I loved ssj3. goku is the only individual character that can even use it. We barely ever see him use it now but it’s always pretty cool to me when we do

4 times would be enough because that's the difference in battle.. power levels translate differently. An average human has a power level 5 yet if you have a power level 10 you can easily tank Bullets and throw a car.. It was even stated that even a a 10 to 15% difference of power level could easily result in a one-sided battle

take this to account Majin buu >> SS2 goku. SS3 goku suppressed > Majin buu. Majin buu > Evil buu. Evil buu >> Super buu. Ultimate Gohan > Super buu. Buuhan >> Ultimate Gohan. Kid Buu > Buuhan(Stated in the video w proof) FPSS3 Goku ~ Kid Buu. So with the power gap I showed,4x is a hindering. In my opinion I would say it's 20x - 50x

@@Limitless94829 it was literally stated in many source materials and data books that ultimate gohan was the strongest non fused character till the end of buu saga and Kid buu was the most "dangerous and unpredictable" not necessarily stronger. Goku literally said that base super buu was stronger than him and proudly said that ssj3 gontenks surpassed him already and super buu after absorption gontenks said that fusion was the only way to defeat him. Edit: Ssj2 Vegeta who is a bit weaker than majin Vegeta was able to exchange a few blows with kid buu (ofc later got overwhelmed)and survived several of his attacks.

You're underplaying the x4. SSJ 1 is x50, and SSJ 2 is x2 so x100. SSJ3 is x4 so it's actually x400.

My headcanon is that Super Saiyan 3 is his hobby horse form. The way he brought it out against Trunks and your whole explanation about "ascended ascended" and the idea about customizing it in otherworld. It is a cool form - it'd be neat to see it get a power up. Fun convo and vid.

I believe the multipliers are higher than stated in the guides but regarding the guide multipliers, some people say that the Super Saiyan 2 and 3 multipliers are greater than Super Saiyan x2 and Super Saiyan 2 x4 because the Ki is condensed within the body, but I'm pretty sure the Super Saiyan 2 and 3 multipliers go up to SSJ x2 and SSJ x4 rather than 2 SSJs, for example, being condensed for greater power. Meaning, the condensed power is equal to two SSJs and four SSJ2s.

Mann, it's so underrated, so I like to appreciate it.

ss3 could be 4x the *power level* of 2, which would mean the performance is massively increased. DBZ has always shown relatively small differences in power level to be HUGE gaps in performance. Even if fat buu only had 2 or 2.5 times the power level of ss2 he'd still stomp a team of 5 of them at once jumping him. Hell the story has character STOMP if the pl is as much as 1.5x the opponent. So a 4x pl increase if it pushed the pl even 10-20% above Buu's would still have him stomp Buu. x4 power level does not mean x4 ability.

I heard the back ground music and immediate remembered the buus fury saga from the gba games. I have a photographic memory and sounds and smells bring back that memory

I've always seen the super sayian transformations like this: 1: pushed you beyond in strength stamina and Ki 2: did what 1 did but gave you full access to your limits of strength and speed 3: did what 1 and 2 did, but gave you access to all of your ki all at once. The reason you don't see this transformation last long is because it's akin to burning all of your self all at once. If all the other transformations are like a camp fire, where you have a stock of wood and you add more as you need it, creating a bigger, hotter fire, SS3 was like adding all of it at once. With ss1 and 2, you'd still have that reserve of fuel, with 3 once you're out your out. I really did enjoy this form; it was god mode before they introduced God mode.

The guidebooks say that Goku's power level on Namek was 50x, but SSJ2 and SSJ3 aren't listed with power level gaps, but "strength" (whatever that may mean, it's a different term used from SSJ and so it is likely talking about something else entirely) and Dragon Ball has already shown us that power level isn't the same as stat boosts (strength/speed get WAYYY bigger increases than power level - like when Goku's power went from ~1000 to 8000 in the Saiyan saga, an 8x difference, but his speed on Snake Way increased by like 30x) So while the raw strength of SSJ3 may only be "4x SSJ2" the actual power level is likely MUCH higher

We saw Grade 3 increase strength and power (likely referring to Battle Power/Power Level) but not speed and Dispo has his speed greatly amplified but not his strength and possibly his Battle Power.

@@-RedHood- I always assumed that Grade 3 still increased speed, but the amount of raw ki going to strength and durability likely drawfed the amount going to speed, so the ultimate difference in speed wound up being negligible

The manga only said the muscles were so big they got in the way, and that pushing SSJ like that burned way too much energy. I mean, the Z Fighters have been shown shadowboxing several tons, 50 extra pounds of muscle should mean absolutely nothing to them

Well that's new We already saw a lot of what if Future Trunks/ Future Gohan died/ survived/ went to the past earlier/ stayed in the past, etc, but as far as I know, no one has ever considered the possibility of someone (from the present) going back to the future along with (Future) Trunks

Ss3 is honestly the most underrated transformation ever. I’ve stood by it since it came out in the series. People often forget how during the buu arc ss3 Goku actually kept up with super buu gotenks absorbed when gohan was looking for the portara earring. Ultimate Gohan couldn’t even land a single punch. Ss3 I think even in dbs is underestimated. Kalifa seen super as blue but was still far more interested in ss3 saying she’s never seen a power like that. I think it could even be more powerful than ss blue if he used all his power in a short burst.

I love this video. People complain that the first transformation took too long, but that’s one of the reasons I love it so much. POWER! That transformation alone threatened the planet, causing earthquakes. Krillin was crying for him to stop. So much POWER in that form, the cool long hair, I don’t understand the hate. Imagine what Goku could do as a ‘full powered’ SSJ3.

It makes more sense for Goku Black since his regular SSJ forms are god forms.

Super Saiyan 3 has crazy awesome moments and I love it dearly cause it was my favorite transformation in budokai tenkaichi 3. But in retrospect, I still prefer original Super Saiyan, because of how much was riding on that transformation happening. Freeza was toying with goku while he was using a x20 kaioken the entire time.

Title got me confused for a sec. Then I realized what he was talking about.

x4 Multiplier is accurate, seeing as being even only marginally higher in powerlevel has always been a deciding factor in this series. Kid Buu is *NOT* the strongest form of Buu, in fact he's one of the weakest (with Fat Buu being at the bottom).

What made Kid Buu such a huge threat was the fact that he was pure evil and didn't care about anything except destruction (imo a much better God of Destruction than Beerus, but that's a different topic). That and his stamina/regeneration was far superior to any of the other forms. But his powerlevel was much lower than most of the other forms by a LOT lol.

yes it was explained in the show. he was getting stronger because he absorbed them from a weaker form. had he started in kid buu form, absorbing them would have made him weaker, hence the reason he reverted to kidd buu once the people he absorbed were taken from him by goku and vegeta.

Yeah the big downside to SSJ3 is we never get to see it at its full potential. The form literally saps your stamina and Ki so fast Goku never had time to charge up to full power. But I disagree with you saying Ultimate Gohan was weaker. First Gotenks SSJ3 is stronger then SSJ3 Goku at least in raw power IMO. Remember fusion not only combines but also magnifies the power of the 2 users. Remember when Gotenks was first born he tried to fight Fat Buu in base form and though he got whooped he still survived so that implies Gotenks in base was stronger then SSJ2 Majin Vegeta and thus SSJ2 Goku and then they trained for a while and got a significant boost in the Time Chamber so by the time they fought Super Buu they could easily be considered above SSJ 2 Goku and Vegeta and then they went SSJ3 and true when they got serious they clearly had the upperhand on Super Buu but they still had to put in noticable effort. Then Ultimate Gohan arrives and basically is just struting around Buu like its nothing and acts like he isn't even trying and most likely could have taken Buu right away if he got serious right away. So yeah SSJ3 Goku is most likely weaker then Ultimate Gohan. And when they say Kid Buu is the most powerful they don't mean in terms of strength, they mean he's the most dangerous, he only thinks about destruction, unlike previous bad guys he won't waste time trying to gloat or prove he's superior he'll just hit you with everything right off the bat until your dead and then move on and if he destroys the battlefield or even himself he won't care. In terms of power he's probably around Super Buu before he absorbed anyone, because after that I doubt SSJ3 Goku would have had any chance

Wasn't Goku's line ''Gohan can easily beat you now'' to Buuccolo in the Anime as well? That implies that SSJ3 Goku was still weaker than Ultimate Gohan not to mention he got bodied by Buutenks. Gohan landed many hits to Buutenks initially in the Anime. Wrath of the Dragon is another story, Goku was losing until he used that strange dragonfist thing, not to mention we don't know exaclty when does this movie takes place. It should be at least 6 months after Buu so Gohan would have been lazy and Goku training.

Buutenks was only slightly stronger than Gohan in that fight and that was due to the fused power and the Ghost Kamikazi’s which are essentially Tri Beams where they are LEAGUES stronger than the user.

No that's not the line. Once Buu reverted to Buuccolo, Goku said "looks like the boys fusion has worn off. You dont expect to beat me like that do you?" Then he told Gohan not to worry about putting on the potara earing and that's when Gohan was absorbed. SSJ3 is well above mystic Gohan. Nice to see a video backing it up

SSJ3 ki drain is a MYTH. well kind of, it's definitely true in Z, however, it's implied in both GT and super Goku had mastered the form. every transformation in DB is implied to be weaker and stamina heavy when first unlocked. (ssj grade 1, golden Frieza etc...). GT Goku had mastered it but was nerfed because of his child body and Super seems to hate the form so they basically never show it off.

@@damienharbin242 They didn't nerf the form. Nerfing it is making it weaker but it was way stronger, because base kid goku was already stronger than kid buu when he fought General Rildo. So GT ssj3 is way stronger than Z ssj3 even if it was just for a few seconds. And it made sense because adult goku already had massive stamina drain, so there's no way kid goku could have sustained it for long.

Super Saiyajin 3 is the GOAT transformation in all of manga and anime rivaled only by Raizen possessed Yusuke Urameshi. It’s intimidating and emanating power. Frankly, if the writing staff is smart going forward, they will revisit the form and make it the de facto strongest possible transformation by making its power drain the obstacle which Goku must overcome to achieve his full potential. The maths in Dragon Ball power scaling has become superlative to the series but has also since become nonsensical. If I were the head writer, this is what I’d do to wrap up Goku’s character arc and pass the baton to Uub and Pan: No. 17’s wish restored all 18 universes, restoring a feared foe of the Angels and Omni King: Yamoshi. We learn the previous 6 universes destroyed by the Omni King weren’t done so arbitrarily but in a climatic battle between Yamoshi and the angels. Yamoshi’s quest for ultimate power led him to search every universe for a mighty foe akin to Goku and he became a God above Gods, but he battles in his base form all the time having since mastered all Saiyan powers and abilities as a nod to Ultimate Gohan’s own form. Goku, Vegeta and the Saiyans assume responsibility and take the opportunity to meet the challenge head own and stop Yamoshi before his power destroys all existence. After being humbled by Yamoshi, he spares the Saiyans and advises Goku to abandon his divine path in search of the primitive path of the Saiyans like himself and retreats to universe 0, the void from the Tournament of Power where he will wait for them and gives them 10 days to figure it out and come stop him before his own power annihilates all things. It is revealed the angels and Omni King can’t stop him and used some ancient forbidden power costing the energy of the 6 universes to stop Yamoshi before but the Zenkai of his resurrection no longer makes this possible so there is nothing they can do. Goku has the Old Kai perform the ritual on him he did on Gohan and this helps Goku attain the Ultimate Form but unlike Gohan, he can go beyond and turn Super Saiyan and when he goes Super Saiyan 3, he feels his power is no greater than Hakaishin, etc. but it still runs out fast, and he can’t go God or Ultra Instinct anymore as all that power is now part of his base, so he goes into the time chamber for the remaining week with Picollo since Picollo can help him with his approach to training mind and body as a last ditch effort to control the full power. As the 10 days expire and all the warriors rush to stop Yamoshi, they’re defeated until Goku and Picollo arrive and Goku meets Yamoshi in combat, after an epic clash, Goku and Yamoshi both go Super Saiyan 3 for the battle to end all battles and as their battle threatens all reality, Yamoshi sacrifices himself proud that a Saiyan would have finally achieved the pinnacle of power and mastered it, no longer being a threat to existence itself. Goku is dubbed the Ultimate Warrior of all realities, no longer having anyone above him to challenge him and retires to the role of master to teach the next generation. The end.
