@Graham Morcom Buster Beetles were first introduced in SMB3, they would pick up and throw blue bricks I haven't seen them at all in any other Mario game since SMB3. The player could also pick up and throw blue bricks as well.

@Graham Morcom Maybe they wouldn't be limited to blue bricks... Maybe if you put something on top of them, they would throw that item/enemy? Maybe they could pick up springs and it would be a moving spring (I don't think that was possible in SMM1, but I could be wrong) There are ALOT of possibilities with this one enemy now that I think about it, wooaahh

Koji Kondo did amazing with the new music for the new course themes! (As he always does) Not to mention the new sprites for objects and characters! The team did an amazing job capturing the classic Mario feel for things that weren’t even in the original games!

Seeing the beginning of this video immediately made me think of creating a level where you ski down a mountainside. Watching Mario Maker videos has been really useful in helping me hatch ideas for this game.

Remember when we all watched these smm2 treehouses and directs all the time and nobody come back after it released basically

The snake block miscount at the beginning really fuels the "Why was 6 afraid of 7" joke

Can you land on Icicles at all? An update that should be done is embiggen them to turn them into falling platforms that stab the ground and give Mario a step up like in Mario games.

There's something so hilarious about the players panicking and running about while the Super Mario 64 slide music plays.

This game is nearly coming out that is how excited I am

Three things I noticed: 1. Toadette doesn't swim as if she's wearing the penguin suit (unlike NSMBUD) 2. Luigi doesn't have custom animations for the SMW style (unlike SMAS+SMW even though his sprites are from that game) e.g he doesn't cough out fireballs or slide on his knees 3. By disconnecting and reconnecting controllers, you can choose which character you want to be in multiplayer

I have already sketched a rough draft of a luigi's mansion level that i will be making in my grid book for SMM2

The best part I like about Mario Maker 2 is definitely Multiplayer mode. Every multiplayer course, if played along with other users, gives us so much fun and laughing. 😙

This seems like a fun job, getting to show off new Nintendo games. I mean, I assume they do other stuff too, but these Treehouse guys must have a good amount of fun doing this part of the job.

Now that Nintendo is adding online multiplayer with freinds we *must* demand them to add the mystery mushroom back in.

Mystery mushroom would take more time than simply adding online friends, let alone licensing issues. I'd rather just be happy with what we have for now

I’d say demanding’s a strong word but I don’t know what to believe anymore. Anyway I’m fine with what we have for now, I do want to see more power ups that *isnt* the mystery mushroom in a later update ( cause there’s no time to add them in unless they’ve been in development all this time, but I’m sure they would’ve shown them by now ) and if not then oh well

@@Nintencon Yeah, from here on out, its just nitpicks, and while its fine to ask for more, this game has already proved it self worthy and now i just want to happily play it.

Mario 64 music! I love the sound effects already.

In water at night what also you can fo is use a fire flower and throw fire and make light. Just one tip/fun fact

I haven’t been following the Treehouse gameplay so idk if it was said before but having the sub area able to be a different theme than the main area makes me so happy

This is the most game I am looking forward to play

This game never initially interested me at first but after watching the three part gameplay I am HYPED for this game! I just need to finish at least three games before I buy a new one.

I love the way how we have like no power ups but we can a bouncy donut that has been in any mario game
