I'm so happy for the developers. I was told they were so anxious, because they felt rersponsible for showing Nintendo they can give their IP's to other studios indie studios to work with. This looks great. I hope they can relax, knowing they made a great game.

Omg the shop merchant singing the Legend of Zelda theme is actually heaven. I can only imagine how much fun the composer/s had with this one. What a prestigious opportunity.

@@258thHiGuy That really didn't provide an actual answer to *Kaiyanpepper's* question. And to add more context, what *OP (B3llydrum)* meant was that this crossover itself when it was first announced, as well how well the two games blend together, was unexpected. Rather, Zelda working so well with Crypt was an unexpected surprise. You can't tell me it didn't throw you off guard when a game like this, or Mario + Rabbids, was announced. To hear about something like this, and then further see that they work together this seamlessly, could definitely be thought of as unexpected.

Im ready for the 10 hour long music playlists of this game for studying.

@@Harry-mx4dh There are a lot of remixes of the Necrodancer soundtrack. Of them all, I really didn't care for Chipzel's. Probably because I judge each one of the albums by their version of 1-1, and hers did not do the song justice.

The music may be the best music I’ve heard in a game. It’s phenomenal.

I wanted a Crypt of the NecroDancer 2. This... this will do, this is good, very good.

@@Shakzor1 - FamilyJules (my favorite KZread musician and I sometimes watch his Twitch) performed the guitar tracks for the songs in the OST but the main game composer is Danny Baranowsky who is known for making music for Super Meat Boy, The Binding of Isaac, and Crypt of the NecroDancer (alongside Jules' guitars).

WHICH IS FREAKING AMAZING! Got to see Adriana and Family live along with TRG and Masae!

I actually love that they put in fixed beat mode. It allows for my four year old to play with me without worrying about being on tempo and I’m sure it also allows for people who are hard of hearing or deaf to enjoy the game just as much.

I love it. More lesser known indie games should try and do stuff like this. Definitely helps introduce new players to their games

The minute I heard that Gerudo Valley remix, I found that I had already bought and downloaded the game

Finally! I've been so hyped for this game that I was checking the eShop every few hours all afternoon hoping it would finally show up.

Danny Baranowsky is the composer. He also made great soundtracks to Super meat boy and original Binding of isaac 😍

This may very well be the very best music I’ve ever heard in a game. Incredible.

I am so Happy to see a great Rhythm game get more exposure in such a remix/mashup! I bought Crypt of The Necrodancer on steam last year and loved the concept. Games like Rhythm Paradise (Rhythm Heaven) or DDR have always been fun challenges and Crypt is one of them too! Crypt of the Necrodancer is basically ‘Rhythm Chess’ because of the various opponent moves that you have to memorise / predict and plan ahead for.

Wow, it really is a true cross-over. I thought it would’ve been more like Necrodancer in structure but this is interesting too. Ah, stopping the need to jump on the beat after enemies are dead is pretty clever! I love it that there’s also Necrodancer tunes along with the great remixes of Zelda music.

Congrats go to FamilyJules & Adrisaurus for working on the soundtrack!

I just downloaded Crypt of the Necrodancer (can’t beat those sale prices!) and BOY, it’s tough, but I’m in love. Can’t wait to download this one too! I’m in love with the soundtrack.

My god... -esses, it's like they decided Zelda music wasn't QUITE epic enough, and needed to find a way to make it even MORE awesome. *You are literally fighting to the music.* And me with my limited imagination probably would've just done a Zelda themed Just Dance or something.

I've never played the first game but hopefully will play this one. I thought it was just crossover skins but it's apparently a whole game. What's hyping me the most is the name of the game. The fact that they used "featuring" like they do in the music industry really shows for me that they care so much they even thought of having a respectful but also cool name

Damn this is so much more than the simple Crypt of the Necrodancer reskin I thought it was going to be. I need to pick this up!

I was loving the "Great Sea" portion of the music.

This is going to be my first jump into rhythm based gaming... because i love the legend of zelda that much! Cant wait!

I bought this game a couple of weeks ago and it's amazing. Been playing at work with a coworker and we've both been enjoying the game a lot.

I just love the Soundtrack. How the Music of "Crypt of the NecroDancer" combines with the Zelda music is just great. And FamilyJules7x did another great job on the guitare

I can't believe I'm saying this, but this is _actually_ a system seller for me. This looks SO fun!

I'm not even a fan of Legend of Zelda, but I may get a Switch just for this game (and Breath of the Wild). Holy craaap it looks amazing.

I'm actually impressed the guy played that well playing this game on a show floor while talking. I can't talk while playing Crypt of the Necrodancer without playing like a potato, let alone with a bunch of added noise in the room.

@@SoapyKoopa well, I bought the first one due to the 80% sale and because I had just the right money left in my eshop wallet, and it turned up being a nice addicting surprise. Maybe I suggest you buying directly this one, but if you want to have just a little taste on what the core gameplay is about, try the first one (it's just 3,99 afterall)

It's fair enough that the guy is having to talk whilst playing, but I can't help groaning when he messes up because getting into the groove in Necrodancer is one of the most satisfying things about it.

"we could listen to this forever!" talks nonstop until after they start the game

Nintendos the only game company out here still focused on making games rather than just selling a product. Obviously they make a ton of money from it, but as it is right now, they seem to be the only ones doing it semi-ethically. Good on you Nintendo.

This game has a mode where you can play without the beat if you find it too difficult and it plays more like traditional zelda but in a move base setting. Still this game is a must buy i am loving every minute of it its as close to a zelda game we got til september comes out with links awakening and that until BoTW 2 Game has randomly generated dungeons so this game is re-playable if you can't get enough of it.

Hey, Nintendo. Now that you have all these gorgeous retro Zelda graphics assets, remake Link to the Past in this style!

Amazing!!!! This gameplay, the songs, the characters, they are all astonshing. I'm totally buying. It would be great if the continuation of breath of the wild, we could have local/online coop-mode too
