I don't think these Treehouse levels are being given enough credit. You folks did an amazing job on them, congrats! Let's hope the Story and Lession modes are actually used by the general playerbase, and they learn from them, so we don't have a repeat situation where 95% of the levels online are pure garbage... oh who am I kidding they will be

Abel people can get creative and make good levels with them, but terrible creators are abusing their power🥺 I hope Nintendo makes a “hot garbage” sample level when you first start and when you die it prompts you with “this isn’t fun to play, don’t do this”😂

Require the player to ground pound it, then have the extension blocks loop around the beginning block. Bam. Easiest softlock.

Can we appreciate how the person playing is at least partially competent with the game? He’s not the best I’ve ever seen but he doesn’t make me yell at my screen from rage.

I'm looking forward to this game so much. I have sleepless nights over it.

I’ve watched as much gameplay as I can of this game until the game comes out I’m super hyped

Meowzer is like an actual boss that you can battle with. Even more powerful is adding wings to make him a more true boss.

Last E3 Gameplay there was a lesson in the dojo saying treating players fairly This E3 gameplay shows a cheap cheap coming out above your head in a question block

Something this game could do better than the original is updates. I played the original for a long time and nothing new was ever added except for event stages. If this game occasionally adds new features, I think it will be popular for a very long time. I would like to see features from NSMB Wii, such as ice flowers and the spinning circles that appear in the first level. Lots of potential! EDIT: The game did have a few updates but I wasn't around to see them because I started playing in October 2017, and the game was released in September 2015.

In the early days of MM1, they actually added quite a bit after release. Like skewers, bumpers, checkpoints, and several other things.

They did add things like keys, check points and specoal power up options. (Making it so you had to have a mushroom to get a fire flower, etc...) Things like that.

A reason I like it soooo much is because it will continue in stead of resetting

I can't wait any longer for this masterpiece.

All the footage I've seen shows that water is only in the Forest and Underwater themes, and the poison is only in the forest at night. Bummer. I was so looking forward to being able to put any liquid in any level theme.

The more I see of this game the more I fall in love

I can't wait to purchase this game. I didnt have a WiiU when the 1st game came out, and had to rely on gameplays to fill the void. I finally got my switch, so this is long over due!

No normal Bowser in this theme? Always assumed you'd have to give normal Bowser a superbell for Meowser. Not a deal breaker and the game still looks AMAZING (defo preordering this week), but I guess I'm a tad disappointed. Maybe we'll get normal Bowser in 3D World in an update? Either way I'm MEGA-hyped!

Yeah, the Ice Flower would be a cool (no pun intended) addition to SMM2 considering how it worked in NSMB; it added a new dynamic to platforming and grabbing far-away objects when freezing enemies and throwing them.
