Earthquake and Tornado warnings, what a day for CA. Stay safe everyone in CA. Watching from Ocala, FL. We might have a TS next week coming up from the SW Caribbean.

Appreciate you getting up early for these videos Dr Cowan
🙏🏻Dr Levi, hope everyone in CA stays safe
Seeing the intense high pressure over most of the continental US is pretty amazing, it's more impressive than the Azores High currently. Never in my life have I seen a storm in the Caribbean take a 90 degree turn to the north. It will be interesting to see what happens. Thanks for the update as always Dr. TT!
Thank you levi!🙏🙂 I am no meteorologist but is a passion of mine, watching your channel especially during the northern hemisphere summer I learn increíble amounts of knowledge when it comes to tropical cyclones/hurricanes. You explain things so good and so easy to understand. Its like your born to do it because of how exceptional you are at it!So many of us weather enthusists look to you and your awesome channel for atmospheric guisante, thank you! From a weather nerd in Lil ole New Zealand thank you for your knowlegde and the way you explaine the weather.👍🙂🌀

lol.. franklin and friends. nice chapter name levi
Thanks for the update Dr Cowan
I was hoping to get some moisture here in Tucson from an out reaching band but nothing other than an overcast sky and a little wind happened. For S.California this is just what the doctor ordered. Fill those reservoirs up and the ground also.
Thank you Dr. L.! Go Noles🎉.
I remember the 2008 hurricane season when there were four storms lined up there was hurricane Gustav ..then there was Hannah.... then there was Ike and then there was Josephine all lined up from the Gulf of Mexico where gustav was hitting Louisiana all the way back to the Cape Verde Islands
Levi: "We have a few storms here. A couple don't matter. Here's TS Emily.." TS Emily: 🥺
Thanks Dr Cowan, from the Mississippi gulf coast!

They’re been talking abt the storm hitting Baja few days ago! Still there as of Sunday?!
What’s up Doc? Nice to hear your voice. 🫶🏼
Storm Hilary ONLY on Sunday hit Baja?!?🧐😳 I thought is already in Orange County and in land by Sunday pm…
She landed in CA, next stop, GITMO.
Many different named storms, a lot to be caught up on for sure
Best forecaster I have ever seen. Over 11,000 views in the first 2 hours and ONLY 610 likes??? Come on people show some love.
Can the trough east of frankling organise into its own tropical cyclone too?
The storm is pretty underwhelming. I’m in Orange County at the beach. The wind just hit but the Santa Ana winds are stronger than thjs
Franklin is taking a very, very strange path out of the Caribbean for August.
Please send some rain to South Louisiana Levi, preferably a stalled depression or TS. We are in an oven and a drought! Thanks!
That Storm is blowing harder than Kamala harris
Thanks for update. Question: are members of GFS n EURO all meterologists? How are the members picked?

I don't get why westerlies and easterlies are called that when every time he points them out he shows the other direction
@HunterBidenCocaineBag

Westerlies originate west of whatever storm and blow from west to east. Easterlies are the inverse.
Will the rain turn the desert in the south west US green, please its a serious question?

The Salton Sea flooding is linked to major fault action which could cause a massive quake.

@@GardenerEarthGuy oh for sure it needs it, I think it drying up is one of the biggest blunders ecologically, but I thought it was worth mentioning that it filling and flooding has potential hazards as well. :)
The tropical system will go through Rapid intensification right before it goes on shore I strongly believe that I could make it to a possible tropical storm but most likely will be a depression

Based on?
Hilary a monster of a storm,truly to it's namesake.
With the strong El Nino, systems coming off Africa will not make it all the way across the Atlantic. They will recurve to the N and NE because of troughs digging down from the higher latitudes, or they will be torn apart by wind shear. The main threat for the US will be storms that form in the near SW Atlantic, the western Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico.

The record warmth of the North Atlantic will likely cancel out El Niño by creating its own rising air
