man… somehow, suga got the reputation for being the cold one in bts, because he’s got a dry, savage wit, and because he used to have a hard time expressing his emotions. NOTHING could be farther from the truth. that man feels so much. he’s incredibly complicated, so warm in the ways he cares for and mentors the younger members, so empathetic in the ways he relates to ARMY about their pain and struggles. It all comes out in his music.

I agree, I think Suga is the most passionate member of BTS

Woow shadow is such a deep song, in the mv you will notice so much more things, the last part was his shadow screaming to him. Saying like, you wanted to be rich and a king huh? This is the price... Rather than him manifestating to have all the success, it is a self reflection on how ambition has a price and a shadow too. So this song is amaaazing, it is a constant conversation between him and his shadow.

The other voice in Seesaw is Adora. She was a long line in-house producer at Big Hit. She left to become a singer in her own right. Suga used some of her ad lib vocals behind IU on People Pt 2. Such a talented person.

Jimin has NEVERMIND tattooed in big letters around his torso and I am sure it is taken from Yoongi's track. I mean he did say in the track 'engrave it on your chest'! How can BTS ever be replicated? Nevermind and First Love are both so raw and deep. They move me to tears whenever I listen. Nevermind found it's way onto Jimin's ribs, he must have been so deeply affected too. Suga is so much more than just a rapper, he is an outstanding artist. Everything Suga puts his mark on acquires some sort of magic, his magic touch is the inclusion of truth, reality. I hope he can achieve that happiness he so much deserves.

Another fantastic reaction. Suga is my bias and for the same reasons he resonated with me. I’m 57 and on paper a rapper being my bias should not have been in the cards, rap was never my bag, I’m a jazz, soul lover at heart , I’m all about the melody, the harmony and the feels. But Suga speaks to my soul and I love his cadence, delivery, use of tone and his flow switches are something else! So happy to be on this journey with you 💜💜💜💜💜

People say BTS finds you when you need them the most... probably true. I would add, my bias found me when I stopped looking, after endless flip flopping between the members back and forth. He found me, he crushed me, he awed me, he ... just blew my mind. He has had me since. The first time I heard So far away, I knew I found a diamond. His music. His lyrics. His character. His voice. His rapping. His honesty, courage and moral codex. Min Yoongi has been my ult bias for almost 4 years now with Jungkook coming next, standing right next to him. The man is beyond special. His music almost visceral - healing, transformative, and comforting. I do not cry easily when I listen to music, Suga and AgustD made me cry more times than I can even remember. the more I encounter Suga I realise that he is someone everyone needs, especially if you are someone who has been spun by life and its crazies....to me he always comes across as someone who has "normalised" not being okay, because as he always says "its no big deal, we all go through it" and thats the most powerful message u can give someone who feels like they are drowning, and in a society where suffering and struggling seem to be things we are supposed to be ashamed of Suga (and BTS) come to us and say, "wear your scars with pride, they too are a part of you. they dont define you but they are a part of what makes you, you" aaahhhh I could go on forever honestly🤣

Suga`s songs are to real and keep breaking my heart in a way it puts itself together stronger after! it is so deep and beautiful when you know the texts. so much emotions to! an experience not to be missed!

Jimin has "nevermind" tattooed on his right ribs. You can actually see part of the tattoo during the first half of the "Set Me Free Part 2" video. You can also tell where they covered it so that they could cover his torso in the words of a German poem. Jimin has a number of tattoos but I think that was the first one. JK nearly all of his tattoos on his right hand and arm but Jimin has them all over his body.

First love HAS to be seen live…. It’s a completely different experience!!! The raw honesty in his performance and delivery is everything and there’s like some orchestra on stage with him and this video screen showing images relating to his lyrics kinda like a cartoon … but yeh the instrumental and the outro is just magical…. Hopefully you got to see it on your own at least…. It’s truly enchanting and you feel his emotions through his voice. One of my absolute favorites for him … ugh and the music is just gorgeous

Yoongi also did Intro:The Most Beautiful Moment in Life as a solo track! I feel like people forget that one sometimes but honestly I think that was the song, when i was first going through the BTS discography, that made me realize he was my bias. Its a great song 😊

I'm never going to be able to listen to Seesaw the same way again. I discovered BTS after I had ended a relationship with someone I'd known for half of my life and it was like Yoongi was telling me I made the right choice. Last week my mom broke the news to me that he had passed away last June at the age of 41. I don't do social media... and I didn't know. To say I was broken is an understatement even though it had been almost 6 years since we last spoke. BTS found me when I needed them and now they're able to help me heal through this tragic chapter in my life.

I was going to suggest First Love. It's one of my favorite pieces of writing, full stop. It's so beautiful - I wish I had written it, I wish I could write like that. The live is worth watching. In Tokyo there's a piano onstage with him... You can imagine, knowing him, that he didn't leave anything on that stage. First Love still makes me cry every time. I'm glad you got it; a lot of people don't right away. Musicians do though, they get that the piano is both an instrument and the physical embodiment of music. This song is why I love Yoongi. Other reasons too but this one piece would be enough by itself. 💜

First Love is a song with a lot of ambiguous expressions. There is a story about the piano, which was his first love, and a story about his friend whom he loved the most. became addicted to drugs and drifted away from him. There is also a song written about the friend.

Don't know if you heard it in the video that got blocked, but So far away actually has a version ft. Jin and Jungkook... And let me just say, it's heavenly

Seeing Nevermind live was awesome at D-Day concert!!!!

Adora was the background vocalist in Seesaw. She was the studio background vocalist on JungKook's Euphoria. Jimin sung her part on Euphoria during Jungkook's live touring performance of Euphoria.

Yup YT is horrible about blocking lives we know. First Love made me sob so much for how beautiful and raw it is. He is one of the most beautiful emotional musicians. I afraid to show his pain. I can’t even explain how much I love this song so much I rarely recommend it to reactors till I trust them. He performed a live stage of this with his actual childhood piano on stage. He was so stoic but 12:00 emotional he almost couldn’t finish the song. When he recorded it he said he was crying and actually kept those takes and use them as some of the doubling tracks to add emotion. Seesaw has one of the BTS producers Adora (she’s a soloist now we love her so much!) as the backup singer. Suga wrote the guide for the song to be a song for all 7 to sing then was on a deadline to give a solo song for an album so just decided to use this for himself and produced a hit sing. Amusingly he hates choreography but surprised BTS by requesting choreography for this as he’s a pretty good dancer and JK and Taehyung are famously fans of this song and watching him perform it. Shadow is another one that takes on the he aspect of Carl Jung’s Shadow part of our psyche and is one of the most complex tracks he’s written love his duality as his shadow talks directly to him. He’s a dark complex guy. Can’t wait for his album. Thank you for deep diving. 💜💜 Also fyi the rapline have done songs where each takes an idea and dies a song around it the Trivia Love triplet of songs. Later albums they did Map of the Soul: Persona (RM), Shadow (Suga), Ego (Jhope) which each take a sound sample from an old BTS song and tackle a Jung aspect in their style. It’s fascinating to compare them and there is things they double or ideas tossed from song to song. Next level genius stuff.

Personally, I can cry whenever I hear Intro: Nevermind and especially, First Love. I don't think I've ever cried as much before with an artist as I have with SUGA a.k.a Agust D. It really touches my soul when he raps, it takes me apart and puts me back together again, it makes me sensitive but at the same time makes me feel stronger. Thanks for the reaction! I feel identified with you, that's how I felt when I saw the trailer of Haegeum HAHAHAHAHAHA I love it so much. It's related to Daechwita. The two mixtapes and the album are related, it's like the process of a person's growth, how he matures and improves as a person. It's amazing. I can't stop listening to it, the whole album, it's a work of art! The chronological order to understand how Agust D's alterego develops is AMYGDALA (the origin of the scar, which are the traumas, sometimes caused by things out of our control and many others by ourselves because of how we face the things that happen to us), then DAECHWITA (where a false king who is a tyrant is "defeated" by a commoner who takes power, it is like when we struggle with the injustices that surround us and try to do our best) and finally HAEGEUM (which is where the real king, comes to dethrone the commoner who took power in the previous MV, because he was corrupted and now he is corrupt, although his initial intention was good before). It is literally, the process of growth and maturity of a person, who seeks to be better than himself, understanding that we all change, and that the important thing is that those changes are positive, for the better. PS: You should see these songs LIVE when he sings them on tour, and the version of Seesaw Acustica he does (WHILE PLAYING GUITAR) is.... A TOTALLY CRAZY, IS AMAZING, I LOVE IT!

Later - 2018? the Nevermind tattoo appeared again but in a different font. That one is permanent and we can see it in several performances and including his latest 2022 semi-shitless photo shoot. Suga’s lyrics in Nevermind are “Nevermind, It’s not easy but engrave it onto your chest.” So we believe that is Jimin’s inspiration. Not sure he ever confirmed it. Its the piano that's saying “kid you can do it”, the piano is his friend someone/something he relies on. He talks about how he grew up taller than the piano and mentions neglecting it at a point in time but even though he neglected the piano and wanted to give up, the piano was always there for me. That passion and comfort that he got from the piano never left. Its about the relationship between a piano and a pianist basically. Personally I think this song is more valuable when it comes to Suga himself and not the storyline. The clips shown in the video is more about the storyline. And also this song makes me super emotional. I recommend listening to it multiple times and read the lyrics again to catch the small things. MCricelli said on 8/3/2019 He's said in interviews that this song is very personal to him and that he cried a lot while recording it. He even said that growing up his piano was kind of like his only friend. if you listen closely he used the takes of him crying in the background of some points of the song. Cynthia Perez said on 8/3/2019 it was in Burn the Stage that Suga talked about the accident. He was a trainee then and worked part time making deliveries. He was hit by a car. He said he remembered looking up and the grill was right there in front of his face. His shoulder was broken (clavicle), but he kept it a secret because he thought Big Hit would let him go. He endured the pain for days until they finally discovered what had happened. Shows what a great company Big Hit is.... when they discovered he had been working part time to pay for tuition, they told him to stop and that they would pay it for him. Since that time he's had a little difficulty with certain dance moves. Beatriz said on 8/3/2019 His first love is the piano. It represents the way he started in his passion for the music. The whistle was to the tune of Jungkook's song begin. Suga is the member who always writes the most raw and emotional lyrics. RM writes with his (huge) brain, Suga writes with his soul.

I Love That So Much!

I call Suga my beautiful mysterious man because he is so multi-faceted. He gets into every corner of my soul and my heart. I can relate to some of his pain, and therefore I love him so much

idk if it was said about Shadow already, but I think it's actually his shadow talking when music abruptly changes. bc according to Jung's theory it's a shadow that is kinda in charge of greed, anger, wish for power and popularity and stuff like this. we may be even scared of our shadow part and try to get rid of it, but it's pointless as it's literally us. that's why it kinda says "it'll be easier if you admit it and accept me". and I think music perfectly emphasizes this switch to shadow's side (it's also very well represented in MV, 100% worth to check out) thank you for your reaction, Pat 💜 love it as always P.S. also maybe you can split reaction of album/mixtape into 2 or 3 parts and it won't get blocked this way, I saw some other reactor do this to previous albums

Suga = first two syllables of shooting guard, his favorite position when he played basketball in high school Agust-D = Suga backwards with TD for Town Daegu his hometown RM = Rap Monster, then changed to RM for Real Me but even the members still call him Rapmon Borahae! 💜

Ирония еще и в том, в тексте есть строчка: это нелегко, но попробуй выгравировать у себя это на груди! Что Чимин и сделал, в прямом смысле. 😄 Она имеет для них обоих очень большое значение.

I think the problem of blocking comes with whole album reactions on YT. Maybe if you upload the songs individually. Not sure, I just know that many reactors have to put album reactions on patreon. By the way, thank you for this. First Love makes me tear up every time I hear it. I grew up with a brown piano in a corner of my house as well.
