Every song on this album is amazing.. but there is something about hearing Interlude: Dawn, then Snooze right after 😭.. I always get so emotional. For him to write such a beautiful song to comfort others, what a gift. Yoongi is truly a gem of a human and exceptional artist 💜

When Yoongi told me "Everything will be alright" 16 times & then repeated his famous bridge from So Far Away from D-2 and said "Dream, I will be there for you in your creation 'til the end of your life Dream, Be generous, wherever you might be Dream, You will fully bloom, after all the hardships Dream, The beginning may be humble, but the future will be prosperous Dream"......yeah I cried ugly tears

I believe Snooze is such an amazing song because Suga didn’t have family support for his dream and had to go try and achieve them without family support. Worked a part time job while training because he couldn’t afford to pay for school and training expenses, like food. He injured his shoulder severely while working that part time job and didn’t tell anyone because he thought he’d be kicked out. He knew music was his only way to his future, his parents couldn’t afford his education. He suffered so much pain physically for years due to that shoulder injury. And didn’t have surgery until 2020. He was called lazy and made fun of for gaining weight because he couldn’t do a lot physically due to that injury. He was ostracized by his peers in the underground rap world because Suga chose a path he felt was the right one for him. So although he may not be as popular with the general public like JK or jimin or V but he’s an incredible musician and if you really listen and read the lyrics to his song you will feel every song, it will affect you in one way or another. That’s what makes him so special. Despite all the crap thrown his way he kept persevering. The Grammys are nothing special because if music is what’s important BTS or at least one of their members should have won a Grammy by now. No group is more deserving.

Snooze it’s not about that , is about him not having seniors that had went to the same as him in BTS being so big and also other seniors just being competitive with them like the bad envioromment in the industry. So now he want to be that senior and make the industry a better place for the artists. Also the reason why he doesn’t seem that “popular” as the ML is cuz no one in the industry made money out of him , so ofc they will block and not promote it. That’s why jk gets all the promo and not filtering in his streams. Cuz his music is made by the typical producers. But the difference is that suga gets all the money from his work and has that freedom. Same with the rest of the rapline. The reason BTS got big was that. Even without the support of the industry that the ML now get specially jk. People who actually care about music and not trends will still listen.

@@mev9752 snooze is him talking to upcoming musicians but if you really listen he talks about them not suffering what he suffered because he was there now to offer his hand to others. I was just giving a little of sugas struggles and why his music is soo impactful to me

Even though your trying to say i don’t know what the song is about I agree with you. Im rap line bias and i know the work and authenticity they put into their music. And the industry hated on bts as a whole. I was more talking about people listening to the music. The general public , casual listeners and many many Armys due gravitate a lot towards VL especially when solo songs are released. It is what it is

The ending 4 songs are a masterclass n sing writing. Polar Night incredible truths about the issues keeping our society in the dark in eternal Polar Night. Dawn a cinematic breaking of light after a long dark time/night. Then you Snooze take a breather because you need rest to know someone believes in you. And finally Life Goes On. We move forward. I can’t even explain how much I admire and love him. Snooze is the most special song on the album to me. Sakamoto has been my favorite composer since I was a teen. That he collaborated with Yoongi contributing piano to this as his last piece before he passed of cancer (just a few weeks before this album came out). A song of encouragement and solace. Plus Woosungs chorus is perfect and introduced me to his band The Rose. Many times in your Yoongi almost or did end up crying through this song. He flat out sobbed in his final concert more emotional so and raw I’ve ever seen an artist on stage performing this (and 2 other songs) but he stayed and finished he didn’t give up. Jin calls him “The Pride of Bangtan”. He’s so very special.

3:45 - Yep. The flip side is that the villain usually thinks they're the one who is doing what's right. But NO ONE (I'm talking about grown people) is guiltless. The concert footage is amazing. The documentary is amazing also. If you can find it, look up the live performance of Snooze from the documentary...it's unreal. I always tell myself: There's a reason for this, you just don't know what it is yet. It will all work out. Yoongi said Snooze was written as a gift to younger artists going through the process and he wanted to comfort them cuz BTS didn't really have that from anyone, but of course, it can be applied to anything. I love everything about this album and all the promotions and content and performances.

YOONGI is talking to his juniors, Le Serrafim, Seventeen, TXT, New Jeans, Enhypen and &Team - comforting them because BTS didn’t have someone who could tell them it would be OK. He supports these young artists in every way with an understanding only he and his members have. It’s such a beautiful song with both the haunting vocals of Woosung and the beautiful piano by his muse Ryuchi Sakamoto - who sadly passed before D-Day’s release 💜

Yeah, the songs do hit different when they write the lyrics themselves. Of course Layover and Golden are great albums as well, and we all know Tae and Kookie are amazing songwriters in their own right, with several incredible songs under their name. But the self-written songs give the others a slight more egde.

Suga also summited his album for best rap. But the judges are trash, they don’t care about the lyrics , they don’t look for translations or anything , Dday none only got good sales but also got critical acclaim in A LOT of US reviews. But to get that t, you have to give something to the Grammys, like raitings and “gifts” to win. So it’s all about money and deals nothing for the arts. The dude that won probably his company made deals with some of the judges.
