Cracked me up, and I wanted to ask him why he thought V would have brought a pencil. I'm sure a girl or two would have one handy for him.

The dumplings were nod to a fight that tae and jimin had over going to eat dumplings. The full story is in the bts book.

Jimin and V, same-age friends, schoolmates and self-proclaimed soulmates... they fight like siblings but love one another so fiercely. Of all the bonds in the group, theirs is really special. 😊

That Jin-min highnote in Zero O'Clock is underrated + Tae, Jimin, and Kook being the second, minute, and hour hands on a clock in the choreo is so creative!! 💜

So Friends is a song Jimin wrote about his and V's special friendship and the lyrics are all true references to things that have happened in their relationship over the years from school together to the dumpling incident/small fight between them to the dream catcher he once gave V as a gift to even Jimins very tiny pinky finger. They are truly soulmates 💜 Zero O'clock is one of my favorite vocal line songs. They all shine so brightly individually and together. It is a masterpiece. Have you heard House of Cards yet? I can't remember, but the live performance is so freaking good! Also one of my very favorites.

♦️RM is the one who wrote the lyrics for “Zero O’Clock”. Jimin really had the stand out vocals as well, plus was the one who not only encourage RM to continue writing the song, but it’s become one of Jimin’s fav songs! RM, himself in a vlog, discussing the making of MOTS: 7, the equally amazing album the song is on, praised & acknowledged how it was Jimin that loved the song Zero O'Clock so much, and encouraged RM to continue & complete it. RM not only writes about 85% of all the BTS lyrics, but even songs mainly credited for other members, they always go to him for advice, also to help with English translation (since he's the only one who has a full concept of eng) plus also to help with phrasing. 👍❤️‍🔥😍🔥

Zero O'Clock is like taking a deep mediative breath or a hug when you need it in song form. Its so beautiful and lets the vocal line all shine. JK is the king of adlibs for sure, but he doesnt outshine the others he adds to the song. Friends makes me giggle and smile at how absolutely sweet the friendship between V and Jimin is. Such wonderful soulmates since HS. They are so silly. SO imagine if you are new to BTS and this album of 19 songs is your introduction you'd get sUCH whiplash from songs like Interlude Shadow and Ugh to these two songs. whahaha our guys have RANGE!

The members were very emotional during MOTS ONE - their first concert wo ARMY during COVID - they were suffering, especially Jimin who eventually broke down.

lol your description of Tae and school made me laugh because I can totally see it. Jimin has mentioned he had to wake him up every morning for school. Oy the dumpling incident that had almost nothing to do with dumplings. That was just the catalyst for them to get everything out that had built up between them. Their friendship is interesting- they really are opposites in a lot of ways. You can see them get annoyed with each other, but it’s just them. More importantly, the way they look at each other is just so fond. I don’t know what other word to use. When it comes down to it, they adore each other and are the first to compliment each other. It’s really sweet. I love 00:00. I found myself thinking “remember 00:00” when I had a particularly awful day recently. I even took a deep breath at midnight. It helped a lot. Jimin has says how much he loves this song, so I’m not surprised he was emotional singing it.

Vmin has a special place in my heart. I love Friends and 00:00 is such a beautiful song too.

@Pat Gibson , 0 o’clock is midnight, in the European and in Asian countries and military have the same process when calculating time. The vocal line definitely hits your heart because they’re singing about the difficult times that you had this day.A very difficult day. When you come home you let go of all the stress & pressures from work or school from anything causes you pain ,as soon as it hits 0 o’clock (midnight) it’s a brand new day to start all over again! Everybody’s had one of those days or several of those days but you know as soon as it hits 0 o’clock midnight brand new day will start all over again makes everything fresh and new!😊💜🙏🏼

BTS is so beautiful and talented, I loved both songs. They made you feel their emotions, gave me goose bumps watching.

♦️Jimin not only wrote the lyrics for, his hugely successful song "Friends", about Tae & his relationship, but also composed the melody for, as well as helped produce. Jimin also said that he continually texted Tae throughout the writing process just to make sure Tae's parts, his lyrics would meet with Tae's approval, as well as getting input from Tae!! Jimin also gave Tae equal amount of verses, even giving certain notes to Tae, that Tae himself said during their discussion about the song, that he had difficulty in singing at first, but even after hearing from the other producers involved that Tae was having difficulty, he decided to keep them in, knowing & having faith in Tae's abilities. Sure enough, Tae said that he pushed through, achieving magnificently, those more difficult notes, just like Jimin knew he could. Jimin has always been Tae's biggest supporter. Jimin's song 'Friends' is also now one of the songs chosen to be & now in the Marvel movie ''The Eternals'. Jimin's photo can even be seen in one scene amongst other photos hanging up on a wall in one scene from the movie.👍❤️‍🔥🥰

Yay this was a surprise!!!! I love both of these songs and they have so much meaning behind them too! The performance of 00:00 at On:E was particularly emotional for the members because they weren’t performing in front of a live audience 🥹💜 both of these songs never get old. So I learned about Jungkook and his vocal role with the group that you might be interested in. Someone of Tiktok was talking about how almost every song of BTS has Jungkook listed in the backing vocals. They gave examples and broke down some songs by the layered tracks. It is clear that Jungkook spends more time than anyone creating and producing the layers of backing vocals and ad libs to their songs. They said that if we all thought we heard JK in the background, we did!! Isn't that cool?? He is SO talented.

I was thinking about this one too. It's such a powerful thought for me - it's not a promise that tomorrow will be better, just a reminder not to lose hope that it might be. And that means so much.

Jin is so underrated as a vocalist, can't wait for his album to come out so we can appreciate it more, we just have to wait a few more months BTS vocalist are just amazingggggg

7:22 - preach. Sorry, but younger people these days don't understand the absolute JOY of listening to a long song ---- I'm talking about 7 minute songs --- from great older bands like Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin, just to name two. I wish they would just slow down and enjoy the music/voices. Just relax.

Zero o’clock has a special place for me it’s the first song I heard when I got laid off my job and I realized everything would be ok…I’ve had lots of ups & downs since then but I always come back to that song it just lifts me up💜

Oh, man. Map of the Soul O:NE was their second attendance-free pandemic concert, and it was wonderful, joyous, and devastating for everyone. It was clear they were giving up on the idea of the live tour they had worked so hard for, and were going ahead with those songs in an online format. They did their very best to bring the energy with just a screen wall of live streamed ARMY around them. I don't think Jimin knew they were live at first (that was the rumor) and he got very emotional - promising to perform better the second day and not let his depression get the better of him. He, of course, was too hard on himself the first day. One technical thing I noticed was that the sound engineers didn't have their mic levels quite right yet. The backing track was as loud as if it had to compete with a live audience, and the doubling with their live voices was really obvious. If you watch stages chronologically through the pandemic, you'll see they quickly fixed that, and we got some of the crispiest, rawest, vocals of their career up until then. (You could literally hear the rooms they were singing in, if that makes sense. The quality of echo or amount of open space and the sound of their footsteps on the type of floor.) Jimin, for example, got impressively consistent, and the vocal support of the rapline was more and more apparent. That was definitely a plus to come out of that nightmare. This is all my opinion from personal analysis, of course. I was really tapped into every aspect of what they were sharing with us at the time. Their generous live streams got me through the rough times. Hope on the Street, dalgona coffee and kimbap disasters, paper and bead crafts, video games - they did it all, and it was so sweet. Now - imma go back through your playlist to make sure you are post pandemic ARMY and don't know all this already. Should have done that first! 😅😅😅

This is one of my many favourites from the vocal line. I think that was part of their on line concert during covid.

As lead singer Jungkook always sings BTS songs first so he probably feels where ad libs should go early on. On one concert documentary there are members who ask him to add more ad libs during their solos portion 😆

I love JK ad libs live. I feel like it’s harder to hear/notice on studio versions bc of the studio blending which kinda mutes it. Love them all really 💜💜💜

When V moved to Seoul to join Bighit he had to join a local school, I think he would have been 15, and when Jimin joined the company a year later he transferred to the same school and being the same age they ended up in the same class. Apparently it was a love/hate relationship initially, and they fought a lot over almost nothing. But in the end V had a lot of influence in having Jimin included in the final line up.

sometimes on the first listen it's hard to focus on vocals, melody, production and lyrics at the same time. Pat still gets the overall message of the song on the first listen so I wouldn't say he doesn't care about the lyrics. He can also check the lyrics after in his own time.
