RM is my bias and he’s actually become a very chill person as he got older. It really shows in his current music. He used to feel like he had alot to prove to the haters in the past and didn’t like his “idol” label so thats where the aggression came from in older songs.

If you want to see them live there is a Cypher medley J-Hope takes his verse from #1, Suga #2 and RM #3 then we get the full #4 it's awesome. Each of the rappers brings their own flavour to the rap line Suga... He is phenomenal in my opinion, they way he writes his lyrics and delivers them. He reminds me of Eminem in how he conveys the rap in context eg sarcastic, sad, angry or happy. He switches his flow and cadence with ease too. He is an MC J-Hope...I love his swag when he raps, his stage presence is unbelievable. He switches up his flow and cadence easily too. When he is mocking lyrically he leaves the listener in no doubt. A real showman RM...Has an IQ of 147 and his lyricism reflects that. He does have a very alpha male presence, almost assaulting with his words. The Busan concert was the last time they performed Cypher 3 live and that was a classic example of his stage presence. Other songs of the rappers Suga Agust D, Daechwita and Seesaw J-Hope Just dance, Daydream and Ego RM Joke, Moonchild and Flowerwork

RM and Suga (using the street name Gloss, a loose translation of the first part of his name [shiny, glitter (Daechwita anyone, glitter crown?)] - YOONgi) were both upcoming rising stars in the Korean underground scene. Both stated wtiting rap lyrics around ages 10-14!!!! Rap Monster was slightly more known as he rapped his own works. Suga was just as well known; however, he was also selling hooks for other artists. His end goal was to be a music producer. Both were very well known and admired for their craft!!!! That was until they became trainees for BigHit!!! The underground artists, mainly through jealousy, began a smear campaign against them. Many believe this is the root of all the BTS haters!!!!

I read a review of BTS a couple of years ago. Very positive. The reviewer described Suga as ‘slightly unhinged’ but in a good way😆. I thought was accurate ha! He’s my bias for so many reasons but that’s one of them.

Your face from 9:45 - 10:07... Not everyone is cut out for the RAPLINE... we Rap lovers know they are the best rappers and killing the game. SUGA and RM been rapping since they were young. Cyphers Live are literally such an experience. I've had the good fortune to see Cypher 3 and 4 live and Rapline and ARMYs always get so hype. It's like a party.

These were on early albums. Cyphers are the rapline unleashing on their haters. Say something about BTS or how they can’t rap and BTS will always show you. It’s their brand from the start. They go so incredibly hard. At Cypher 4 they essentially said “we are above it all we don’t know you but you know our name. Bless love yourself because I love myself” except Suga didn’t get the memo in 4 and had slot of shit talk yo keep spewing 😂 They go much harder performing these live. The 3 youngest members go full feral watching the Cyphers, Taehyung in particular infamously has ZERO chill about them. We have many a Bangtan Bomb. During the DDay tour She ga revived them and did parts of 3 & 4. Army loves to scream “I love myself I know myself Player Hater you should love yourself” a whole stadium screaming it is so empowering.

It's the three guys, rappers that wrote about how they feel about the way things were going in 2017 and some of 2018 when they almost disbanded. They were worn out from work and tired of the haters. some one once discribe it as Yoongi will tell you, you're sh*t Jonnie will explaint to you why you're sh*t and Hobi will tell you it's ok that you're sh*t Joonie is a poet and rapper. even as an underground rapper (runch runda) he was very lyrical. I have never seen any other rapper the raps seemlessly between 2 different languages. Yoongi is an in your face rapper, that comes with passion and aggression. His message is always on point and needs to be heard. Hobi is a smooth rapper. People under estimated himand he proved them wrong. He has a voice and style that makes you move while he tears you up. That is the thing with all 3 of them. They have the ability singularly and collectively to ip you to shred in a nice or aggressive way and you have no defense against it. The Cyphers were a answer and a warning to those that wanted to come at them about their rapping and idol status. The 4th Cypher was basically telling the haters, I love myself, I don't hate you anymore so why don't you go and try to learn to love yourself. I'm done with you. (my humble opinion)

Suga is a genius with dropping notes with aggressive Rm then Hobi flows all hard n amazing. Love 1 n 3. Rm was an underground rapper n Suga too. He writes n produces most of their music. Suga is someone not to mess with otherwise he will chew you up especially the haters.

Cypher 4 is an audience participation cypher. Hearing 100,000 people chanting I love, I love, I love myself. I know I know myself. RM and Sugar were part of the underground Rap scene and from 13 that was their friends then when they became idols they all turned on them even stabbing them in the back in an interview calling them out for wearing make up telling them they were not rappers anymore. This is their clap back.

Ddaeng its the final boss of the Cypher saga,its like "we already a BANG so we dont give a shit to u anymore,BYE!!!" Actually Joonie past is okay. He really smart student that he got exchange student program from his school. His father office worker so i assume his from enough money family background😁. From all the rapline Yoongi past is the darkest,his been thru a lot. I think why Joonie rapping like that is bcause Yoongi and Joonie both are from underground rapper and then they debut in idol group. Rapper on idol group is kinda a shame for underground rapper community back then. As u know,idol rapper is not consider a rapper cause they create the image while they're still trainee its like rapper create by idol company but that not for BTS. He started Cyphers and u learn so much about rap from him. I am a vocal line stan not too deep into rap. And yet I love BTS hip hop songs and adore the rap line too. Go figure! Army thinks Knox Hill is Suga bias because he has a huge ass grin any time Suga raps, lol. It's cute. Supreme Boi I think was part of the original group but decided to just stay on as a staff member/producer. He adores BTS. He is their homie and hype man. Pls watch the cypher Medley. It's fire. They look great. And sound amazing. stay safe. -2019 Army NY USA💜 Dia Tomoe said on 11/22/22 I may understand why many ARMY's specifically led you more towards cypher 2&3. Cypher 1: as it came out during their debut days, their skills in rapping still extremely raw and unrefined compared to today. It feels more like what cyphers were supposed to be. raw, honest, but it was made to show their skills and to make the album feel more "hip hop" Cypher 2&3: as they were both released during the period of time they were struggling as a group, you can feel their "rage" in them. both cyphers feel more like diss tracks aimed at specific targets (haters, prejudice, media, bad critics, etc). I think these tracks fuelled ARMY's even more and some could even relate through the lyrics. not to mention, complicated word plays that you can dissect for DAYS Cypher 4: created post-rage period. they have become more mature at this point, and they are showing people that they will no longer deal all the hate against them with rage. while at the same time, they are flexing about where they are today (bigger than the haters) so they will focus more on loving themselves and taking it a stride than waste energy on haters.

Oh you’re not ready to watch the Medley from Suga’s concert. You should listen to Ugh!, Ddaeng and then watch live performances because they’re just as crazy.

RM's verse in cypher pt 2 is one of the best verses I've heard on a k-pop song (and I'm gonna call it k-pop, not hip-hop because it came out on a k-pop album, but in it's nature it is a hip-hop song) For the fact that his verse was so long, he was constantly changing his flows and cadence. The rhymes schemes, the double/triple entendres, the pop cultural references, the bars!!!! It might not be the best in terms of being poetic or the general theme might not be the most unique. But just from the structure and delievery perspective, as a piece of rap music it's really up there.
