Thank you so much! This helped me make beautiful keychains. Having the sublimation print facing up when you tape it and then flipping everything over is genius. I've used this technique so much since I watched this a few months ago. No more wasting coaster and keychain blanks. You rock!

I took a picture of the keychain shapes and then uploaded them into cricut then clean up around the shapes especially the hole. Once I upload them for design, I will flip the image just so I know which image will be on what side. Hopefully that tip will help.

Your keychains turned out lovely! Thank you for your easy to fellow video! I did have some discoloration when I subbed the backs of my blanks (not all.) I'm thinking I press too hard using my EasyPress & the heat tape might have discolored some of the photos because of pressure.

Hi Renee, I didn't have any stickiness left behind on the ones I used. Maybe use alcohol on a paper towel to wipe it off.

But I would like to ask you a question, why when you did the logo, you flattened it on the design space but not the fotos, is there a reason for that? I probably did that because the photo was already a print then cut image and the logo had layers. I would have to go back and watch it again; but this is my best guess. If you are using a photo it's already print then cut.

You just need a heat press that will reach 400 degrees.

That's a great question, and it is something I haven't tried.

Hi! My photos are coming out dark and yellowish orange looking like the older photos use to look. The colors (prints) when transferred onto the blanks aren’t bright and vivid. Am I doing something wrong? I’m using the same sublimation type of paper, and the sublimating ink is called Koala. I have a new set of sublimation ink called APRONE vivid and bright colors. I still have nearly a full tank of each color so it will be a while before I will need to add more. It does pretty good with other prints and wordings…it’s just photos I’m having issues with. 😢 Any pointers would be appreciated if possible. Thank you! 🥰

Hello, that is just the clear plastic that comes on top to protect the material before it is pressed.

Loved the tutorial! I have this exact set and everything on one side looks great, but the back side has a big bubble now. I used 400 degrees at 60 seconds. Has this ever happened to you? Do you think the heat and time was too much?

I haven't had that happen with these. I would suggest making sure to remove the plastic from both sides, fold your butcher paper so, that's it's like two sheets instead of one, and perhaps go down to 385. I hope these suggestions work out for you.

@@sheilawilson6252 I adjusted the handle pressure on my heat press so it doesn't press down as hard and I also lowered the heat a tad bit and so far it seems to be working better. Hopefully this helps you as well!

They are called broad-tip tweezers and they only come in a set with the brayer.

Oh no 😢. What kind of paper and ink are you using? Also, did you let your photo sit under the heat press for about a minute to make sure there was no moisture in the ink?

I did everything you did but my image won’t print mirrored please help. I turned mirror on in cricut design space and in the printer setting. It’s still printing without being mirrored

you are double mirroring. you need to mirror either on design space or the printer. not both.

I’m pretty sure these images are pngs. It is necessary for your images to show up as print then cut before you click make it.

Delonda,. I also have an Epson printer the number of mine is 2720 and it's an ecotank. I bought the keychain blanks like what you have I use the same paper that you have my easy press goes to 400°. I did the same time that you did for 60 seconds and all of my keychains seem to have burned. Don't know how to do the settings on my Epson 2720 and I can't find anyone who knows. Can you tell me how to find the settings for my printer because that's got to be the only thing that's different from what you do. Please and thank you 💙🐰🐰🐰💙

Ok, I have ordered from 3 different vendors on Amazon. The ones I used in the video were good quality. I also like the ones I ordered from a vendor called Salifuy. They are good quality too, I just wanted a larger surface. The last package that I ordered was not too good and I am returning them. I will not mention the name of the company; but it is not the same as the name you ordered.

How much I should charge for keychain? What is the price for sale for pice?

My suggestion is to check online retailers who sell similar products...like Etsy. I don't do sales and you should consider the time, materials, shipping, etc

This is probably a dumb question…. Do I have to use sublimation ink or can I use regular ink on the sublimation paper? I have an Epson 8550. I haven’t bought the paper yet, so I don’t know what the specs are. Just want to make sure before I purchase it and not be able to use it.

Not a dumb question. You would need sublimation paper because the ink has to be transferred to the paper with a heat source up to 400 degrees.

There's more than one way to do just about everything. I chose to do it that way...thanks for sharing your idea.

I tried doing this it was a disaster, I did everything u did but every time it was time to print there was no pic there, I have no clue what I did wrong uggghhh so annoying gosh I staid up until 3 A.M & didn’t even get 1 done right, I give up, it was nice meeting u, I still subscribed but I’m done with circuit, sublimation ALL OF THIS CRAFTING STUFF
