Hello Cricuters,
In this tutorial, I am going to show you HOW TO PRINT A BIGGER IMAGE FOR SUBLIMATION. I used Microsoft Word to resize my image and I demonstrated how this exact same image would look if I was limited to using CRICUT DESIGN SPACE.
Follow along with me as I share HOW TO DOWNLOAD A FILE, HOW TO IMPORT THE IMAGE INTO MICROSOFT WORD or CRICUT DESIGN SPACE, and HOW TO PRINT A BIGGER IMAGE FOR SUBLIMATION.
The file that I used in this tutorial was included with my Design Bundles PLUS Membership. Here is the link to purchase it, if you are interested: designbundles.net/plusstore/1610277-my-attitude-is-having-technical-problems-funny-mug?pref=3QcFtx&ref=3QcFtx

I have all confidence in you. Pause the video. Slow it down and take it step by step. Go into the craft with the knowledge that it might not go as planned. Try and forgive yourself if you make a mistake. You've got this 💜
I also do it that way, Silhouette Studio software free option is another way to work with my sublimation files. I am a Cricut girl and I don't have a Silhouette cutter.
@CraftingwithDelonda
2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I have used Silhouette but not enough to be really good at it. I'm a little bit more comfortable with Word 💜
I love that design. Thank you for sharing!! Do you have a tutorial on how you converted your printer to a sublimation printer ? I have a Espinoza 2720. Do I need to convert it or are there other options ?
@CraftingwithDelonda
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I converted it live in my Facebook group but I didn't record it. All you really need to do is put the sublimation ink inside, instead of the ink that comes with it. You will do that before powering the printer on.
I also have that square image when I heat press. I’m very new started in dec. I do know how to cut my words out on the machine. But can’t get these images to print right size
You are totally amazing have you ever thought about doing a Zoom because I’d like to take my time and make sure that I hear everything that you’re saying if you could go step-by-step even though it seems like you went step-by-step to some people to me I need just a little bit more I love everything that you make you are such an inspiration for me thank you so much Delanda for sharing
@CraftingwithDelonda

You are too kind. I do LIVE tutorials sometimes that you can take a look at. Also, you can slow the video down and rewind as much as you need to.
Thank you for sharing this information. Question, do you repeat the same process if your shirt was an XL to 3X
@CraftingwithDelonda
2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 💙. It depends on your printer. If you have an Epson 2720 which is probably the most popular printer used for sublimation, you could resize the paper to 8.5 x 14 and change the paper orientation to landscape.

hey girl can this be done on black if use the htv for dark colors ? can you do a test video? and so its possible to make my prints from another program and i dont need cricut to cit right can i just cur my design by hand ?
@CraftingwithDelonda
8 ай бұрын
You can definitely do this on black with the htvront for dark fabric. You could print from Silhouette Studio if you are that good at cutting by hand.
Hi love your tutorial, I'm new to this so my question is, what type of paper did you use to do the sublimation printing for this project?
@CraftingwithDelonda
2 жыл бұрын

Can I use the same technique when using Iron on transfer sheets. I don't ha e a sublimation printer so I ha e to use the Iron-on transfer sheets
@CraftingwithDelonda
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can make the image bigger but you would probably have to cut it. This worked for sublimation because of the white surrounding the image doesn't transfer to polyester fabric. If you are using photo transfer paper, I would stick with Cricut Design Space.
What size sub paper was that that you used for this project? Also, what would you have done if it was going on a black shirt or tote? You would need the cricut to do the cut around the image as to not see the white correct?
@CraftingwithDelonda
Жыл бұрын
This was done before the update to the cut size in Cricut. My paper size is 8.5 x 11. You can do this in Design Space now.
Can I ask when u are sizing the pic what Percentage do u have it at on the left hand side
