Hi Tanner! Love how u tested all the different products💕. I think it’s very important to note that when sublimating or using infusible ink, ur material ( make up bag, shirts, hats, gloves, etc ) must be the highest polyester u can get in order for it to actually stay after washing. As long as the polyester content is higher than let’s say cotton, it will work. 100% cotton will wash away. Dollar tree has the pocket pot holders & they r 100% polyester great for sublimating, yes their colors r dark, but I used black infusible ink & it looks awesome💕. I hope u don’t mind my input. Now I can not wait to try it on the wood shapes💕🥰. Love hugs blessings & prayers, Donna 🥰🙏💕

I've been sublimating on the glass cutting boards DT sells. I was not able to find any plain clear ones, so I ordered a case from their website, and they came with both clear and some with designs on them. HOWEVER... the designed ones can somewhat easily be made clear. I fill the sink with water, dish soap and vinegar. Soak overnight or for at least a couple of hours. Then take a razor blade or scraper and remove. I have had some remove in one full sheet. The way I sub on them is actually to sub onto white permanent vinyl (not HTV) that is applied to the back of the board. You don't mirror and yes, the design comes through the vinyl and visible from top! I had seen someone do it and couldn't believe it until I tried it myself. I love hitting DT to find random things to try!
Hey Tanner. Just watched this video. Thanks for trying all the items that you did. For any of the stretchy items like the hat, gloves socks you should put a template inside to stretch them so the ink gets inside the groves. I sublimated socks and always use a template. You can cut a cereal box or any food boxes and use them as a disposable template.
My favorite kind of video!!! Thank you, Tanner!!! Merry Christmas!!!
This was awesome! Thank you for taking all of the work out for us. Now we know and can get right to the fun. 😃

I am in heaven because I am the merchandise manger at a Dollar Tree. I got tired of waiting on the weeks it took on the background check so I just reorganized the sticker department. I was hired the next morning. Needless to say the first isle I reset was the craft isle. Now customers complement me on the isle saying it looks better than any Dollar Tree in north west Arkansas. 🤩 I look forward to following you.

Just bumped into your page. Thank you for the tips and I’ve always been interested in doing sublimation.
DT is great for beginners like me. I've tried sublimating on wood, towels, and canvas panels all worked well. Sometimes I think items work better with a real press vs an easy press

I agree about the real press (like a clamshell or swing away press) getting better results. You can get a lot more pressure.

I just did this recently! I pressed four images of same picture on one, and added text for what the settings were (Photoshop manages colors, printer matches colors, edited vs. original photo, etc.)
A plain sketchbook with someone's name or design would be so cute for a little artist 🎨
Try putting cardboard into the sock to stretch them out then sublimate onto them

So many of those things I had assumed were cotton and never even considered. What if you stretched the stretchy things out over some sort of form to sublimate them? I’m thinking they would be more intense when not stretched, and still look good when stretched?

Hi Tanner! I was wondering about the dry eraser board. If we did just a pattern with no words, cause it's very suttle, could it still be used as a dry eraser board? That would be great office gifts. Thanks so much for all the testing. So cool!
I love the video. Also they usually have polyester or blend shirts and tanks. I think some of the items you chose are to dark to last, unfortunately. Sublimation results are an unknown until it's washed, so taking all these you can and washing them a few times would be the real test of the items IMO. The white car towels they have are %100 polyester and sub really well for hand towels, they are a bit fluffy though so not perfect. I didn't know you could sublimate wood without a coating on it first, the tree turned out great. Thanks for sharing and considering items that are not all expensive circuit products.

Do you have any videos comparing results from "regular" sublimation and sublimation done with Siser Easy Subli? I want to delve into sublimation and am really leaning toward the Siser Easy Subli, the only hesitation is the issue getting the Easy Subli sheets (they have been out of stock everywhere). Thoughts & ideas please!

Hello. Was excited to see the projects but disappointed I couldn’t see close up on them all.
The pot holders have a higher poly content than the oven mitts - you get a much better transfer. (At least that's what's available at my Dollar Tree)

Which paint did you use for the butterfly? Thanks!
When done on fabric is it washable? I make quilts which are washed a lot. Would you recommend? I would love to personalize
can you make a video on time and temps for your items? and what kind of paint did you use to paint the butterfly before you subed on it?
Awsome video. Thanks vrry much. Do they wash well? .I will like to sell items.
If you heat 1 sheet protector piece (pull it in two) press that onto your surface first like wood, or dry erase, then sub over the top of it your colors are much more vibrant like how the wood pieces turned out. Also you can paint on polycrilic onto wood and let it dry then when you sub onto the wood it’s very vibrant colors!
Omg Dollar Tree, Hobby Lobby and Ross all next to each other I would be BROKE!!
Actually I think I like the translucent look on the dry erase board that leaves a background design so if you still want to write on it with black marker you still can see whatever you're writing but you got this pretty background in the back so it almost looks intentional
What would happen if you stretched fabric before the sublimation process? Like the socks, stocking hats?
I supplement on a lot of things from the Dollar tree. The pillowcases, towels, socks, bags
Excellent Thanks!!
Thanks for sharing🤗
