The other su22 should have more flares anyway if you look up images of it in Syrian service it has 2 large countermeasures dispensers on the top rear of the aircraft

The su22 is Syrian there are many images of aircraft of the Syrian Air Force with the extra flares- even in the same camo as the one seen in game

Cant w8 to grind this out, in next 3 years.

At least the german tree is relatively tiny to grind at the higher ranks

It is a good grinder as you say i only have half the Modifikation and already just need 150.000 to the MLA I just wish it has the custom loadout so i can get 1 more gun whit out losing the missels

I think I read somewhere the reason the other version has so many fewer Counter Measures is that they're higher calibre, so more effective individually, just smaller quantity.

Hey Tim, love your videos. I just wanted to ask since you can actually talk to Gaijin devs, can you bring up that the Kfir C.7 afterburner is bugged right now? The nozzle gets smaller when the burner comes on (which isn't correct), the burner clips thru the nozzle, and the burner itself is not the same size as the Kfir C.2's burner (the C.2's looks better). Thank you.

Hi, first of all, ty for the vids. i catch myselve pretty often on ur channel sice i found it. this got nothing to do with this vid, but do you think u could make a rb ground attack guide for advanced players? (i mean tank rb ground attack with jets startig with BR 10.0) I searched yt for this but there is no vid wich is good. I just cant figure out how to fly the A10 for example (or any other high tier jet) without getting killed in a second. I have around 4k hours in WT but just cant find a way getting more aducated ragarding this topic. Ty for your time - take care.

tim has a great channel but its more air rb related. look up hunter warthunder, hes got great ground rb vids that can help you with cas. if you wanna fly the a10 youre gonna need to climb to around 3-4 thousand meters and launch off mavericks from 8-6km away, this is the only way to fight top tier sams.

As the previous comment said, Hunter is a great person to look at and try to emulate. As a general rule of thumb, as long as there are enemy spaa up, you don't want to be within even 5 km of the battlefield. You want to be up high and far away, popping countermeasures. Make sure to notch, as depending on whether the enemy has a radar or IRST, you could make them lose track. Once you get the hang of it it's not too hard to get all of your Mavericks off completely unscathed

In my experience this plane is so SLOW (even with the engine module) that all bases get bombed before you have the chance to get there.

The marker that shows where the bombs are going to explode I don’t have that enabled is this something I can turn on in settings ?

Should I get the Suchoi or the Phantom II for german CAS in 11.0 GB RB?

I wish the Su-22s got more flares

if you need a quick review,I'll try to help (btw am not professional pilot i just use this plane for cas and rarely for air rb) its basically a pretty fast plane with dogshit acceleration and bleeds so much speed at turns but you can speed run to base and bomb without any problems. remember this is from a ground main player but hope it helps

Mirror in the cockpit doesnt work, and shouldnt the camera be on the nose intake ?

@@TimsVariety I hope you talk a bit about the Kh25ML. it seems interesting but a bit confusing. In this video, I saw you lock in third-person view and the rocket is guided towards that M1A2. Does this rocket lock on moving target or only the ground? In my gameplay, ACQ shows up so I assume it tries to acquire a target but I could never get it to lock on anything. Still fun to guide it manually though.

@@caokhadung The Su-22UM3K's laser guidance unit doesn;'t have an auto tracker, so it just locks the spot on the ground. In that particular clip, the chump didn't move out of the way, so he ate the missile. Some aircraft/weapon combos can lock ground targets like that, some cannot. With a plane like this (which cannot) , you have to stay in the laser targeting view if you want to manually adjust/guide the missile in. If you fire from the external view like I did here (and like I usually do, actually) the missile targets the spot on the ground - but does so very accurately and is great for plugging campers/snipers hiding out on the back side of some hill etc etc.
