I used to say never to barrel Jean's until I found the right one! It' looks so good on me! It's now my favorite Jean's to wear. So I learned my lesson to never say never!

Barrel legs are tricky. They're either awesome or ridiculous depending on the cut and fit. I had to have mine tailored to get the right fit and they look amazing and so flattering. Always show the ankle and wear slim shoes.

I saw women (not girls) wear these barrel legs jeans way back in 2010's and they paired it with heels (stilettos, open toe stilettos) and they looked really cool. I loved them. And now it's back. Love it.

I like wide leg jeans but not barrel leg jeans. It’s a weird shape that wouldn’t work on my petite frame.

Love barrel leg jeans! Nili Lotan are my favourite! I find it much easier to work out what is working with my outfit is too take a picture. Its easier to work out what you love and what needs changing!

I seriously love them so much. I have been DIYing them from old skinny jeans. My thing is the sock. I think you’re right about the proportions of the shoe, but I also think the proportion of the top makes a difference. You can’t wear something on top that comes down longer than where the flair of the jeans begins. Great tips!

Yes I saw a really cool outfit with these jeans, a slim tank and a really voluminous sleeved blazer and it looked amazing!

You’re spot on with the narrow shoe, but they still look goofy to me😂 These will not last long, not sustainable imho 😮

So much hate, lol, I like them!! I got some lightweight Free People cargo pants with a button strap at the ankle so they can be worn wide leg or barrel style. I only tried them on out of curiosity because I like to play with silhouettes and they're my favorite pants!

I'm getting slobby clown vibes any which way you 'style' them. Hopefully, that trend passes as fast as the eclipse!

😂😂I might be the only other person on the planet that likes barrel leg jeans! I have three pairs. I’ve had one pair for three years and the other two for two ish years. I do agree that they probably aren’t for everyone but I LOVE THEM! (Ok, full disclosure, I love all things denim and might be an obsessed collector) YOU LOOK GREAT IN THEM!❤

I am really digging barrel jeans--the room in the seat and thighs is very comfortable for those of us who are hourglassy or pear-shaped. But I personally prefer them longer (so there's a soft break) and slimmer at the ankle than what is shown here.

I'm shorter 5'1" so they're longer on me and work perfectly - I'm not stuck with a thinner-nosed shoe, and can wear them with my leather lug sole loafers. Paired with a crisp white shirt, a cashmere navy sweater and my Ralph Lauren blazer, I always receive many compliments.

I am not kidding …they look God Damn awful ….on everyone I have seen wearing them … gives that John Wayne with piles thing going on ..

I compleately agree with you regarding the shoes. However, I think this trend of barrel jeans will not last for long also if it is very interesting. So, I think I will skip this, and who knows, if I am wrong and in three years they are still on trend and everyone is wearing them, maybe I jump on it, too... 😉😊

You’re right, the shoe makes a big difference, but I think the same is true for the top half of your outfit. The jeans look great because you combine them with a narrow top and blazer.
