I find my loafers one of the easiest shoes to wear. They look particularly cool with an ankle length jean and socks I think. But them with leggings just hurt me deeply LOL that's a no no in my book.

👗 great tips, thank you. Your point about not having pieces for your fantasy self that you never wear is such a good point. My fantasy self lives in heels and floor length wide leg trousers when the reality is that my lifestyle is totally different. I've now limited myself one pair of what I call 'hotel trousers' - where you leave your room and go down to dinner / the bar and don't need to venture outside.

Speaking of Sam Edelman, their loafers are the best!!! They don’t hurt my feet and I have very sensitive feet. Literally can’t wear most shoes. But Sam Edelman loafers are the best. I did try their slingbacks and while they are very chic and more comfortable than others on the market, I just don’t like wearing any heels so they don’t work for me. But for people who don’t mind even a kitten heal they are great.

When you were talking about your skirt being too long, I remembered something: last year at this time I was wearing a lot of longish skirts to work, and the most annoying thing is when you get home at night and are climbing the stairs to your apt--and the skirt is so long that you keep stepping on the front of it while climbing the stairs and tripping...UGH. And if you're carrying groceries up the stairs, that makes the experience ten times worse.

My "uniform" is dresses. It makes it so much easier to get ready for the day and takes a lot of the decision-making out of the picture without being completely boring because I get a variety of styles and colours. Fundamental for me is a black or pink mid thigh dress, black or beige trench coat, black or beige flats. Style up with a ring, earrings, and a hair accessory (usually hair clip) because I don't like to put my hair up but still like to get it out of the way.

6:46 I am on the heavier side with a really prominent chest. I stopped wearing bras with clasps and underwires a couple yrs ago. I only wear bralettes now that go past my underboobs and stop just right above my waistline--I also take out the padding because I hate having to accentuate my chest even more. They help smooth everything out especially my back rolls; only downside is they can be a little uncomfortable especially when I'm full lol or during warmer weather, but I have a variety of materials to choose from so I don't think I'll ever stop wearing them.

So just looking at these colors on you in this app, the winter colors do look more striking on you. I bet you are a winter especially since you seem to love a good black and pure white. I have this thing where I love specific autumn shades in my decor but they look horrible on me. I’m almost positive I’m a summer but somehow attracted to warm tones contrasted with cool tones in my house. I wonder if sometimes we’re attracted to the “wrong” colors because of current trends. Or maybe it’s just all made up! Haha

Can you talk about materials? I don't know if I should continue buying 100% cotton, linen, and satin only am I limiting myself? I once bought cute sleeveless ployester tops because I thought it will keep it's shape for a long time and I was right but it's harmful for the enviroment and I want a high quality wardrope but when should I buy each fabric? I keep thinking which piece is better in that particular material. I want to shop for new clothes soon but I'm on a budget so I appreciate your help
