Strongman Training with the World's Heaviest Strongman, Gav Bilton.

It's just 8 weeks until The World's Strongest Man 2021, and I'm going to be visiting the incredible British athletes that will be making their way to Sacramento to compete for the title.
In this first episode I meet with Gav Bilton at his gym in Wales. According to Colin Bryce, Gav is the heaviest Man ever to compete at WSM, and it's a difficult claim to question when you're stood next to Gav.
In this session Gav and I train Axle Press, Frame Carry, Sandbag Tossing, Grip and Atlas Stones.

I have to admit, every time you took a run I was wincing but it looks like things are holding up well. Your speed, like the whole gang's strength, is relative. You're the fastest of the bunch, even at 320kg, but I know you're comparing to what is fast for you. I love all the comments about Gav in an old-time strongman leotard... he's just got that look about him. Jovial, huge and and the mustache. Keep training and most of all, keep healthy!
