    Mark Felix is a legend in the sport of strongman, is in his mid 50's (around 55 years old) and still one of the best... He's an absolute gentleman, everyone says it, Irish Fan

    @@msr2566 I really meant in his earlier days and as a top 20 competitor in strongman at the time...He's still one of the best and broke the hercules hold in strongman a few years back...!

    @@msr2566 Don't disagree with that Mikael, the sport has gone on to new heights over the last 10 years. Mark was a top 20 competitor in strongman in his earlier days but was close to 50 at the time which was some feat. We both agree he's a great strongman and person but like everyone, past his best now... after all, he is 55 years old and amazing for his age...!

    I met him in an event few years back. One of the nicest guys on the planet. A gentle giant if I might add. He was kind enough to take pictures even in his busy schedule. While leaving, I shook his hand. Now I have one hand.

    I’ve only met and shaken the hands of three men in my life so far who have totally crushed mine and who have all done amazing things with their strength and all have been humble as well so I salute every person with at least those two qualities.     I’ve always been impressed by people with such insane grip strength. Mark Felix has always been such an inspiration for me, not just for his grip strength or his other accomplishments in strong man but his longevity in strength sports. It’s inspirational to see that age is just a number that we don’t have to get weak as we get older, we can still be strong and accomplish our goals 💪

    @@luisestrada2732 if he did it from a younger age, he may have very well been in the elite ranks. Hand and wrist strength is the most important in arm wrestling and Mark has exceptional genetics (and his arm/back is very strong too obviously). All he needs is technique and tendon strength developed from years of practice.

    I've seen the frying pan roll-up a few times. Never have I seen it done that easily. To put it in perspective, I saw Eddie Hall do it on a news show. He rolled it up a little, then paused, rolled it a little more, paused again and continued like that till he rolled up the whole thing. This man just rolled up the pan like it was a piece of bread. I wonder how he shakes people's hands without having to send them to the hospital.

    Its really interesting to see how extreme strength is applied specifically to certain situations. A world-class rock climber may not be able to crush an apple or fold a pan but is able to hang his entire body weight on the 1st joint of ONE finger, with ONE arm. 😲

    What they did was is they cut the top of the apple where the stem is in draw a hole in it and then stuck it back on top and gave him essentially a semi hollow apple

    I think this events are silly but are necessary to broaden the audience and the appeal of the strongmen. They make their strength more evident and relatable to everyday thing everyone is confronted with in comparison to like how much can you deadlift or how quickly can you move and anvil. Like how much does and anvil weight or how hard is a deadlift with X pounds?
