Hi, Unfortunately I lack knowledge when it comes to the gymnastic rings but if that's your only choice, any kind of gymnastic exercises will most probably be benefitial to you; e.g. ring pull ups, push ups, muscle ups, etc... There is probably a lot of material out there on this by qualified professionals.

for accessories do you think that chinups might be better for biceps instead of a curl variation?

  • @PowerTraining

Hi, Both of them are excellent alternatives. The curls will isolate the biceps exclusively (if that is your goal) and the chin up is more towards the compound spectrum (other muscles involved too, not just biceps).

Hey there, On your previous video (What do wrestlers need) you mentioned isometric training where you squeeze a dummy for 3-10 seconds for 15-20 sets. How much rest would you take between sets?

  • @PowerTraining

Hi, Good question. Since we're talking a lot of sets here and that most people will probably do this at the end of a workout, I say rest very briefly (under half a minute). It's true that I say max effort exercises ususally need minutes of rest but in this case, it's simply a supplemental isometric exercise and we want to make it specific to a wrestling match.
