I took my good friend who was kind & honest, to see this movie; he died shortly afterwards. The sight of him lying on his death bed still haunts me today with sadness after almost 30 years. I carried him to a dinner where his doctor was present. He was a decent person.

This song says it all and the movie, “Philadelphia” still resonates with me because it’s still an issue, unfortunately.

When my dad died i didn’t get it, i didn’t get why he listened to these songs, however 10 years on in a wee town in scotland half way around the world in the darkest of times i get it i 100% get it he’s convinced me❤️

Every time I hear this song or see this movie.... I just cry... because it's a reminder that we all will all die someday but to prolong life as long as we can and preserve happiness is more important than status, wealth, etc... by far! Health should always come first! Please support our healthcare workers and the sciences the go behind LIFE! God Bless EVERYONE!!

You're more than a little mixed up. Of course it's not Clarence, it's Bobby King...but I asked if HE thought it was Clarence. Also, this is 17 years BEFORE Clarence died. I have no idea where you're pulling your information from but you should start double checking your "facts".

Well Philadelphia is known as "the city of brotherly love" so that's probably the irony of it but of course anyone can be abandoned in their time of crisis anywhere so it's universally relatable wherever you may be.

I think pretty much sums the majority of the music that the Boss has written. None more so than this song but still. If you listen to Born To Run or Darkness On The Edge Town without feeling something, well I just feel sorry for you.

Being the father of daughter who struggles with an ED, this song brings me to my knees and I always break out crying. Every word rips through my ears and lands in my brain and reminds of all the struggles our family had to deal with. Há muita informação, orientações, agora cabe a sociedade fazer a parte dela e respeitar esse isolamento social. Por ser uma doença "noca" ainda há dúvidas, receios. Mas creio que com bom senso da população e agilidade no diagnóstico, logo poderemos frear o contágio com atitudes simples como isolamento social a pessoas do grupo de risco , lavagens das mãos...
