Great work. I do love the a5100 - I shoot video only and the 1080p from the a 5100 is great. Lot of good features for shooting videos destined for KZread. Good Show Cheers

It’s defo a decent camera for what it is and when it was released. It does hold up in terms of image quality I can’t fault that. I never actually done a lot of video with it in fact that’s prob something it should consider doing in future lol.

Thank you so much for your videos, I wasn't sure if I wold buy the Sony A5100 for 150 bucks because everybody's videos were so bad, like they couldn't Maximise this camera potential, you're the first one I saw that really made me love this camera !!! Thankssss

Thank you for the comment. It’s good to know that what I have been putting out with this camera is helping people to make there decision. Obviously Continue to do your research and make sure it the right choice for you. But ultimately it’s the time you put in to growing as a photographer that makes all the difference.

@@itsleonsimpson Yeah obviously as you said, it's the photographer that makes great pictures not the camera. I have a friend who buys a new camera every year and yet he is a mediocre photograph. And I am sure that the A5100 fits my need and my budget, I already got a Lumix GH4 but I needed a lighter camera since I do travel a lot. And tbh 15O$ for the A5100 is nothing compared to the Fuji X100V which costs 2K, or the Ricoh GR3 which costs 1K.

@@amd379 😂😂😂 I hope your friend doesn’t see that comment lol. Oh yeah as nice as an x100 is if the budget ain’t there for it then there are other options. I would imagine pair with a nice pancake lens this would make for a nice small travel set up. Prob the 20mm if you want that classic 35mm look.

Thank you. Yeah for socials the quality is still there. Most of it was shortly on a 50mm Sony 1.8. Some with the Viltrox 85mm.

Hi I edit photos in adobe Lightroom. Generally with a preset to start and make more adjustments from there for what I feel suits the photo.

I generally use aperture priority during the day and manual at night for more control of the shutter speed and ISO.

Hi thank you. The cage is a SmallRig model 3538. Depending where you are there pretty rare to come across these days.

While the a5100 shots were amazing, the video quality was top-notch as well. Do you use presets for your videos? If so, which preset did you use for this content? Also, it'd be nice to know the presets you used for the a5100 shots as well! Thanks, man!

It’s set to the normal Color profile shooting in RAW. But I edit and manipulate colours to get a look I want.

I would personally look at tamrons, viltrox or samyang. But it depends what focal length as there are good seals to be had.

@@canisimrace yeah I mean at the time I was learning photography with street but I knew I would be doing video as well and getting client work. But I did also get a Fuji xe4 which i use for street and fun as well as well as recently getting a film camera. I find if cool to try these different things in different ways but each does sort of have there own place.
