- AK-Swift "Drama" from RAPsody Vocals 2 (1992):
"Causing much mayhem, dropping drama.
Radical rebel with a need to bomb a fake MC then I hang em higher.
The mic is my time to pay-the-piper.
Crime of rhyme going off as I kick them. You on the beat portrayed as the victim. Maniac, as I cut the balances. Supreme, with the war and challenges.
Graceful, and quick like a Puma. You can't catch up so now you assume.
I'm Swift, you got it right the first time. Your a** was through before I started to rhyme. I got your brain in my scope. The planets I hold so dope you can't cope. Deadly, Quicker picker up like bounty. Born and raised in Chicago, Cook county. Mic is the omen, raising hell like Damian.
Punch through your chest like the creature in Aliens.
Pray like a panther on the loose, Hold still while I get the noose."

yes, he does!
As a DJ that really digs into info dives like this for sampling, original sources, influences, etc; this is such an absolute treasure in the Hip-Hop, Music, and gaming community. Phenomenal work as always!

Thank you for the comment. You crate dig, too? I would always find hip-hop samples but then I started finding them in games all the time

@@uncannyx Yeah absolutely! I try my hardest to dig around for rare / obscure music to play and it usually ends up in long searches for its origins / original samples. So my library is fairly filled with a decent amount of stuff I've collected over the years, nothing crazy but a good amount.
I was shook when I heard the sample in CVS2. I can't believe how common of a sample it was!
That acronym unlocks memories. Omen III was a big hit in Germany, so Magic Affair were heavily featured in teen magazines around that time.

I never linked MAGIC AFFAIR and SF3 ... just great. Thx for this reveal
Thanks for this! Great to finally know who was behind these rap samples. I unknowingly first heard it in Ape Escape (Pipotron Theme), later SFIII (Tomboy ~Huge Side) and most recently 10,000 Bullets (Smooth Blues and Junk! Junk!Junk!).
Bro he’s the voice behind some of the most beloved capcom fighting game songs, and that was just some side thing he did what a life this man’s lived.
Yo, your videos are soo interesting!! It's insane the amount of research you do! Keep the great work
Play DDR during my teenage and 20s that's this guy Swift had his lyrics on a song I used to dance to it's pretty cool.
This is soooooo cool! Thank you for uncovering this info. I've often wondered about this sample in the SF3.
This is awesome! Great detective work. I'll say it before and I'll say it again, Uncanny X is highly underrated and deservers a million views!
【8:51】 ☝ *"HOLD IT!"* ☝ - *Phoenix Wright,* the _Ace Attorney_ series (2001-present; 2005-present for Western releases). Hey, is it just me... or does the *percussion* on the *"Mission" track* from *_Tokyo Xtreme Racer: Drift_** (2003)* sound awfully familiar to the percussion one would hear on *Ice Cube's verse* of the *title track* on the *the N.W.A.'s (N***as with Attitude)* debut studio album *_Straight Outta Compton_** (1988)?*
Thanks to you, I now know the lyrical master behind Put Your Faith in Me.

Great detective work -- really interesting watch, keep it up!
One of my favorite videos so far. I love it when you guys go deep into the making and history of VG music.
I remember hearing him in DDR. Crazy.
Just played Garou: Mark of the Wolves, and while it's a bit of a loose fit, I noticed B. Jenet's them in the game, Bad Girl?, has a bit of Peter Gunn Theme influence to it. Maybe it's just me, but it came to mind immediately when I first heard Bad Girl?.
Yo! Nice work!
this channel is awesome. great video

@Uncanny X Bullet Point Bayou from Scribblenauts Unlimited to me kinda sounded like Yellow Submarine, but faster.
I actually recognize the 1st sample in this video from Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia.
