The town of Brooklyn Wisconsin had one of these up until about 10 years ago. It had a on/off pattern tho. 2t22 you are SORELY missed. ❤ I'm flooded by memories of growing up in a small farm town now😁

It wasnt a 2t22, it was a 3t22 and they removed it because one of the solenoids was stuck shut probably

It is inactive but still works. And its a 3T22. But there is a 2T22 at the fire department headquarters where the 1940s model 7 used to be, but that model 7 is now at a convention center.

3t22 has solenoids which makes it capable of doing a hi-lo type sound, unlike the 2t22.

Carters are a bit lower because they are 15 port and a 2T22 is 10/12. That is why they sound similar. Nice profile pic btw.

Nope. That would be a Model 2T. The thunderbolt for their chopper used the model 2 series. Fun fact, the 2001’s chopper was used from the Model 3

Ummm, no. Thunderbolts are 5, 5/6, and 4/5 port. The xt22 is 10/12 port.

The xt22 is considered a fire/tornado siren. They could have had some installed at nuclear power plants though.
