Audrey adds 300% to every episode, podcast, interview whatever she joins in on. Every person should add her to the discussion- they’d be nuts not to!

*Gems in this episode* -Don't trauma dump (have other people you can talk to about certain things). -Therapy therapy therapy! -Honesty, vulnerability, express yourself firmly without "attacking" your partner/anyone else. -Enforce boundaries (don't fold, even for your partner) Help add more gems in the comment section ⬇️

it is so interesting to hear how different you process emotions, Audrey and Matthew! Audrey needs to vent first (i completely feel you !) and solutions come afterwards, and Matt is "complaining don't help, we find a solution NOW" 😀 And none of it is better or worse, it's just different approaches. Thank you for sharing and being so approachable ☺

I love the contrast between Sabrina's rapid spitfire and swearing style of speaking with Matthew/Audrey's softer, slower style of speaking. Love seeing these three talk!

Thanks Audrey - for being a gentle, kind & sweet host. Sabrina has a very hard & strong personality - I am not sure about her advice or views on relationships- as it’s based on her own projections of her own upbringing. It works for Sabrina now - because she is in a safe relationship with a partner that seems to have a huge bandwidth for her. But not all partner can hold up so long like this.

After plenty of relationship struggles, my biggest hurdle is what you talk about at the 28 minute mark. I was just talking to my friends about how puzzling it is to determine where my needs, wants, and desires eclipse or conflict with my partners’ and vice versa. I fear it will be a lifelong dissatisfying struggle and it makes me think I am not really able to have a healthy relationship.

it seems to me that you have to know yourself very well in order to express your needs, what if i have a partner who doesn't know himself well and instead of saying what he needs he is just angry - is the relationship doomed to fail even though it may just be a misunderstanding or a different approach to dealing with issues? you could react angry to aurdrey and audrey could feel not being seen for her approach - both of you would feel not being seen and missunderstood - even if you love each other the relationship could end when stuff like this happens a lot..

I did some reflection the other day and I have been with people who always needed me to be there to help them fix something about themselves and I never fixed myself during those relationships, I am currently dating someone who is perfect but I am having thoughts that she doesn't need me and lack of self confidence, what should I do?

Hi Matthew, thank you for this video. There’s a particular topic I don’t think you’ve covered that I wanted to seek advice on. What if you genuinely just don’t want to put in the effort to date? Is it ok to just fully let go and take a break? Sometimes I worry that I won’t come back from it but I genuinely don’t have the desire to date rn. Thank you 🙏

Lol.. it's xtrodinary to verbally diagram how the psyche jumps from protective mechanism to inseting/finding a hole/break to let something else guide you... to unburden yr psyche.. I'll have to come back to the video. KZread has literally been my guide to self-help.

I don't like the way Matt says "her" or "she". Also don't like that he calls her complaining.
