Great job. When I lived on Charlotte Harbor in the 80’s we used this method almost exclusively and caught so many different species that it became a contest to se who could catch the most on a single trip. Our best was like 20 plus in a morning outing. Use can use live or cut bait , a jig or spoon and pop it along, or double jig and wade the back bays. Simple to use and cheap enough to keep us from going broke

Something I've learned fishing over the years. If there is a size limit you don't want your fish to be right on the line. I've seen fish shrink 1/8 to 3/16 when they get stressed. Especially if you are keeping them in a livewell.

Wowwww that is truly remarkable! Seriously! Because the bobber stopper keeps the bobber in place whereby not allowing the sinker to touch bottom and the bait will be floating freely how smart is that I must admit I’ve learned something very fish important 😀 today 👍👍👍

Hey! I've fishing the same way here in Italy for 15 years now: sliding float from a pier with rocks. Let me give you an advice: you definitely need a longer an dedicated rod for bobber fishing, at least 5 meters long. You also need a landing net the same length. The rig you use is very good, but some small adjusts would make it even better. If like to, i'll make a video in which I show my rig and my way of fishing. Keep in touch. Your YT chamnel is awesome!

Nice! I will use this tomorrow. We are ALWAYS getting snagged on the rocks at the jetty I fish! I have used Richard Gene’s method of using fishing line as a bobber stop and it is better for casting through your guides. You just use a Surgeon’s knot with double your line weight and clip it close! It slides up and down easily and you don’t have to spend money on bobber stops!!

good instructive video any consideration given to the size of float and weight of sinker. so that the bait will be presented more naturally and the sink will not get stuck at the bottom as being too heavy. thanks

i use a rubber bead between the sinker and the float as well, otherwise that float will be damaged when casting.
