Awesome outing. I do get bored casting spinning reels all day. Surfblasting baits over 100 yards with conventional reels, such as my Avet MX, SX, and Squall 15, is fun.

What yah got Ghost shrimp out in GofM nice... we used that alot here in the Bay area...best all around bait there is specially Stripper and Sturgeon

A tip with the pump is keep going down the hole often 2 -3 pumps until the whole tube is down in the sand as they can often be deep. I fish a sand flat here in Australia with them and its about 300 acres of ghost shrimp beds

Hey Skipper I'm curious I never see you use Sabiki rigs when surf fishing? I was in Fort Lauderdale fishing on vacation. I caught my 5 mangroves on # 5 sabiki. Also bait fish on #3 sabiki.

A lot more fun catching a pompano out in the wild than in our local Asian market...

Went out to sarasota area and my buddy and I caught about 100 fish total in about 5 hours. 90% were ladyfish, but it was absolutely insane and so much fun. They put up such a good fight and can be challenging to keep on the hook at times

Huge fan of your channel man , the mud prawns I usually take the hook through the back of the tail so that the pinchers are pointing upwords with a little bait cotton on the tail after few wraps and its good they stay alive longer that way

If you dont push the hook through the front they seem to live longer also adds a bit of movement on the hook itself

lol haha that happened to me more than one. i actually almost lost a rod to a ray once haha that was a close call. i had a few small fish go after big shark baits but that bluefish haha thats something.

Stella 5000 is an awesome real, love it. The 14000 is a peace of junk.i don't understand why my 14000 is so rough, unbalanced. Shimano say it's functioning perfectly. I bought a saltiga to replace it, so much smoother and way more powerfull, crazy good real.
