I really appreciate that your dad goes fishing with you so much. My Grandfather used to fishing with me all the time and I miss him so much. Thank you for being real and educational.
Blessed. I like how you mention about throwing back fish that ppl don't or won't eat, and proper disposal of line.

I’m surprised you only have 80k subs, you make super high quality informative videos and I can honestly say you helped me catch some big fish
Old video but ty for seemingly being the literal only person on youtube that actually explains how your suppose to use lures cause not all of us had/have a in life teacher.
let em' go let em' grow ~Senko Skipper
Thanks again for all your advice. I’ve honestly had to figure most of this out over the years by trial and error. Sometimes by watching to see what other people were using. KZread is a wonderful thing for this information and You and Your channel is probably my favorite. Keep up the Great work. Promoting the fun of Fishing and looking after our environment too.
I stumbled onto your videos and I like the simplicity of them. I live on the Gulf coast of Florida and learning to fish all over again

I really enjoy your positive look towards ocean life preservation. I usually don't comment, but like your videos and how you explain things. Thank you.
Just subscribed to your channel. I have been an avid fisherman all my life and I love that you have created a channel to share and explain your passion of fishing with the masses. Great channel!
I really appreciate you talking about about preserving or natural resource! KUDOS!
The message at the end is extremely valuable, respect! First video I watched and learned some things, now subscribed 👍

I haven't fished since I was very little, but I have wanted to relearn. Thank you so much for your videos! I have found them very informative, and I also appreciated your warning about cutting up lines and only keeping fish if you intend to eat them! I look forward to watching more of your videos!
Awesome video! Really helpful for beginners interested in pier fishing. Let em go and let em grow!
Im from Australia, and fish mainly rivers for our native fish. I love your vedios because its cool to see how people in America target fish and the similarities and differences between targeting methods. My favourite method is catching fish on surface lures, especially Murray Cod ( native river fish) 😏👍
Love how ur dad gave the rod to the girl to reel in the fish. Just awesome.
Amazing talk about keeping fish here for the future. Everyone spread the word about releasing fish and limiting what you keep. SenkoSkipper u earned my subscription😁
I appreciate the time you take to inform people about different fishing techniques. Above all I appreciated the fact that you inform people not to kill each fish they catch especially small fry. In the past I was a keen fisherman but now I don't have much time for fishing. I would like to try the sabiki rig and I agree although I never used it that 2/3 hooks are enough as I used a similar one with live shrimps. Keep on posting and best regards!
I loved the educational part of this video! It’s great for people that want to know about these different rigs.

Awesome work. Thanks for adding those comments at the end. Keep using your platform to spread these environmentally positive messages.
Sir Brendon, ur explaination is soo clear i didn't have to rewind the video to understand everything u say. Amazing. Its really helps, maybe someday i could use that to technique thanks a lot
Very good totorial. Ligit. Thanks for doing such a great job. I fished commercially for years. You are right on the money. I'm going to use this for teaching young beginners. Thanks well done!
Thank you for the video, I am watching this right before I head out to the pier.
Great video and I loved the message at the end of it. SO true! We need to protect the environment so we can keep having a hobby!

Except for the part where he said, "cut the line up", and as i understood it, throw it in the ocean.....thats just fucked up.

@@Timeren2010 no i don't think he means throw it into the ocean. Im preety sure he means as you dispose of it. As in throw it away, if its cut up it wont be a tangled mess for any critter.

@@MrUKFred some local Mom and Pop bait/tackle stores might do something similar in the U.S . But I havent heard of any organization/charity in the U.S, that wants my old fishing line. Maybe its just the midwest where im from 🤷♂️. It could be more a prominent thing near the Ocean coasts. Thats cool that the U.K has a nice program like that.

@@MrUKFred yeahs in FL(a lot of fishing here) there’s a lot of stands for old line and old fishing gear that you don’t want so you can dispose of it, but some people are careless but what can we do about it, just do our part!

Thanks. Your video helps a lot. Wish we have someone we know that can teach us in person. My kids wanted to try fishing and both my husband and I know nothing about it. Last time we went we didn't know what to do but hope for luck and of course got nothing. Now watching your videos with my kids to learn more before we go again next time.
I love your videos cause there so informative. Keep up the good work. I’ll be watching and liking
Love your message at the end. A lot of people don’t care enough only because they are unaware.

With braid I also like the clinch knot. But a tip is to make three or four simple overhand knots afterwards. It doesn’t hurt anything to do this on braid but will help with knot slipping undone. Leave a little longer tag end than usual as well on the swivel. A drop of superglue is a bonus.
Thank u definitely going to try this today
Good information and thoughts for the fisherman, Thanks.
I really appreaciate that Erin spends all that time and effort to film and edit these amasing videos!😀😀😀😀😀
Thank You for your words on conservation it needs to be said more often

thanks for the info, very helpful
Thought the video as a whole was good but the PSA at the end earned you a sub from me. Nice content!
Thank you for that statement at the end. It infuriates me when I see people keeping every single thing they bring up out of the ocean. They'll say "I don't eat them, I'll probably just give it to friends/family/etc" and you know damn well they're just going to freeze it until it's no good anymore. I get people asking me all the time "you're not keeping it?!" when I catch a small bass or something. Wtf am I gonna do with one tiny fish?

Very very helpful video. Definitely hitting that subscribe button. I’m heading fishing out to the piers at Manhattan and Hermosa Beach tomorrow. Wish me luck. Happy Fishing from the West Coast!
I have really enjoyed your videos and I am glad I found you and subscribed to your channel. I really appreciate how you bring your father with you in whatever adventure you start. My father and I had the same relationship, and if he hadn't have brought me as a little boy on his fishing trips I may never have known the beauty of the water. Good Job! Later in life he lived with me and I brought him when ever I went "in the north country." This is a Minnesota thing! Haha. Land of 10,000 lakes remember? Anyway, the both of you are eloquent, speak very well, keep it clean, and keep me interested. Keep up the good work guys!
