Steve Irwin Teaches Rove How To Take Down A Croc | Interviews (2002) | ROVE

Ойын-сауық

The Crocodile Hunter makes his Rove Live debut in grand style as he talks (at pace) about such topics as meeting Jennifer Love Hewitt backstage and why he doesn’t drink coffee. Those two subjects are unrelated. He also gives Rove a hands-on demonstration on how to take down a killer croc. Subscribe Here: bit.ly/SubscribeROVE
Welcome to the brand new home of Australian talk show Rove Live on KZread. With clips dating back to the first series in 1999, all the way through to the latest footage from the end of our tenth year, this is the only place to find all the best official Rove Live content without having to watch it from some other blurrier source.
Host Rove McManus and his fellow funny people including Peter Helliar and Corinne Grant, Dave Callan, Adam Richard, Meshel Laurie, Carrie Bickmore, Dave Hughes, Hamish and Andy, Ryan Shelton, Judith Lucy, plus cliploads of guests, sketches, stunts and stupidity now have a place to help you waste your day even more. It's like reliving the show but with the ads being way shorter.

The thing that I find really magnificent about Steve Irwin, other than his contagious spirit, is that he's very honest, truthful and openly speaks his mind, and yet he never says anything negative about anyone; Never condescending or insensitive. Steve was a very emotionally-intelligent person, and someone whom the increasingly apathetic public should strive to emulate.

@@yesdude3914 I agree with you that countries lately assimilating American culture is very tragic and disgusting. Americans are one of the last groups of people that anyone should emulate. On your second point about people on this side of the globe being very vocal and proactive against offensive things; well, most of those outrages are justified. It was a long time coming, after decades and even centuries of abuse, prejudice, prosecution and disfranchisement of minority groups. You have to understand that American culture is very xenophobic, in large part due to Christian fundamentalism. They're almost as bad as Islamic extremists in the Middle-East.

I have never seen such a full transformation of a person as when the interviewer asks Steve to teach him. You can just see Steve's eyes staring into his soul, and his words suddenly carry an incredible weight.
