TJ Anderson 100% met him at Australia zoo, he was just walking around the zoo talking to everyone that stopped him. Nicest guy, full of energy, positive about everything and most importantly he made sure he could talk about saving animals and their habitats at every opportunity.

We've all seen CROCODILE HUNTER: COLLISION COURSE -- www.poffysmoviemania.com/crocodile-hunter-collision-course/ -- as much as we love Steve, we know he's no actor. You could see his brain jamming up. It's funny because usually, a real actor might get jammed up if they have to go OFF-script, but Steve loves the authentic personality parts and he gets jammed up when they write him lines.

Did anybody else notice the look in Steve's eye when he asked to be taught to jump on a croc? It was like Steve was looking right into the man's soul, like he did not want to teach him or did not believe in him.

The thing that I find really magnificent about Steve Irwin, other than his contagious spirit, is that he's very honest, truthful and openly speaks his mind, and yet he never says anything negative about anyone; Never condescending or insensitive. Steve was a very emotionally-intelligent person, and someone whom the increasingly apathetic public should strive to emulate.

@@yesdude3914 I agree with you that countries lately assimilating American culture is very tragic and disgusting. Americans are one of the last groups of people that anyone should emulate. On your second point about people on this side of the globe being very vocal and proactive against offensive things; well, most of those outrages are justified. It was a long time coming, after decades and even centuries of abuse, prejudice, prosecution and disfranchisement of minority groups. You have to understand that American culture is very xenophobic, in large part due to Christian fundamentalism. They're almost as bad as Islamic extremists in the Middle-East.

Goodness, his energy is amazing indeed. I see why Terri was obsessed with him. Australia truly lost a grand son some years after this. It's good to see him in his hay-day

100% I have kids now and I so wish he was around for them to watch him today.

As a 90s kid I used to live watching him on animal planet. His enthusiasm was very infectious. Stay blessed Steve 🙂

Steve doesn't even have to try. His timing, energy, and personality makes everyone else in the proximity seem tame and boring.

Love you Steve best thing about him was he has no filter what you see is what you get. Steve would be so proud of Bob and Bindi. The force is strong in those two.

i really like this style of interview.. never really noticed how much a something like a desk (david letterman style) can makes the conversation so impersonal. the way they lean onto each other while talking makes it so much more genuine

This makes me happy and sad at the same time.

I have never seen such a full transformation of a person as when the interviewer asks Steve to teach him. You can just see Steve's eyes staring into his soul, and his words suddenly carry an incredible weight.

Growing up I never appreciated what I had until it was gone.

I MISS HIM SO MUCH. HE HAD AMAZING ENERGY, PASSION AND COMMITMENT TO HIS CAREER AND CONSERVATION.

When steve said I got a couple snakes for bin laden I laughed so hard. I love this man

This man was a treasure to the entire planet.

Steve really was a one-in-a-billion type of person. He was a beacon of light in a world that has grown darker over the past few decades.
