Stellantis to offer buyouts amid electric vehicle transition
The company has about 56,000 workers in the U.S., and about 33,000 of them could get the offers. Of those, 31,000 are blue-collar workers and 2,500 salaried employees.

wow. Like we didn't see this coming.
How much did execs and ceo make the last two years? How many billions of tax payer dollars did the company recieve over the last 40 years? a Jeep Compass in 2012, still own it. The price of a 2023 model is 10k+ more then what I paid back then.
If they did get greedy on the price of their vehicles they wouldn't have to let people go it's sad how much vehicles are now days and how greedy the car market got through the years now it pay back time but if they did honest business the hole time they wouldn't be in the position they are in

Hey Stellantis, I believe your problems started with the greedy car dealers, interest rates, gas prices, your high car prices. I need a new vehicle but I'd rather have food on the table, mine is 24yrs old and parts are still available. Is this SUV/truck thing a fad? Like a Pet rock or a Chia pet, everyone has got to have one.
