Steel Wire Sponge Canister Damascus San Mai Tanto Knife
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
I turned the metal sponge into a damascus knife, the metal sponge comes from chipping waste that accumulates during lathe work.

Hello mister beautiful knife beautifully made
Do lots of your viewers like machinist channels, or am I the odd one out? I bet a collaboration between a blacksmith and a machinist would be awesome. Not every tolerance on a machined part is microscopic, so a blacksmith could produce the low precision features with hand forging, as well as other embellishments like engraving, inlay, Damascus etc. then send the unfinished work to a machinist for all the crazy small tolerance stuff that requires their skills. Honestly, I’m just going off vibes but I bet something like that would go viral.

Great job, please take a video about the manufacture of the M4x punisher knife, I know there is already such a video on KZread, but I want to see the manufacture of such a knife in your performance, because you are a very good talented master, I hope you will not refuse and make such a knife
did you soak it in kerosene/WD40 when it was in the can, and also straight after removing it from the can, to keep air away??

Actually I don't have kerosene, I use diesel. In addition to blocking air from entering, it can also increase the carbon content.

Hi Hans, the bevel grinder you were using in the video, looked simple but effective ? Did you make it yourself and can you post a picture of it please ?

Could you please tell where did you get a surface grinder? It’s a very nice piece I was wondering where did you get it?
@HansKnives

Thank you Surface Grinder I suggest you look for it in your local market. Mine is a small model 612. But it weighs 300 kg. The power of the motor is small, about 550w 3/4P. If you want to find the same model as my grinder, you can try to find 7115 or 5963.612. These keywords on ebay.
