Stealth Camping Beside Fire Station

I brought out my small camo tent and snuck into the woods beside a small fire hall to camp for the night. It was an interesting #camping location with some excitement throughout the night. It was a bit noisy, but it was much better than camping under a bridge. #Hunkerdown!

Beautiful station! I’ve been a career firefighter for 17 yrs in Iowa and I can’t stress to you enough the level of “I don’t give a crap” fire fighters would have of someone camping next to the station. Also, if they did find you, they might ask if you want crash inside or at least bring you out a warm meal. The biggest risk you had there was a “warm bed and a full tummy”! Cheers brother!

Hmm, I dunno about the rest of your viewers, but I really wouldn't mind a revisit to types of stealth-camping spots you've already done, like doing more road-side sign camping, or highway junctions, or even weird public infrastructure like under bridges, storm-drains, and "welcome to x" signs, I just like watching you creatively avoid onlookers and hunkering down in general! Cheers!!

When he was looking at his car near the end, I thought if he got a ticket he would probably just say "Oh, looks like I got a ticket, must have parked in the wrong place. But that's okay, it happens." anyone else would be pissed off, but I can't imagine Steve being anything but totally understanding if he got a parking ticket. Honestly the only thing I can imagine him being angry about would be if he caught someone else littering or being careless with a fire.
