@@reidt182 my point is that the word middle east is just an avoidance of the word Arab world. Turks don't even consider themselves middle eastern but rather European. So I'm sorry but I'm not gonna make it more inclusive by calling it middle east just for the sake of 1 country out of 24.

Defenitly needed this video in my life! I'm the kinda guy that when I cook steaks, I season each one (usually 3 different steaks) a different way. Which I cook for only myself, but I love to have the knowledge for when I'm cooking for friends and family!
I know some may say it’s best to leave a steak at just salt and pepper, but I think it’s fun to experiment with flavours. I find steak very flavourless without good seasoning.

I'm from Canada and the Montreal steak rub goes on everything. Chicken, ribs, fish
Every week my grandmother would cook a roast that was heavily crusted in Montreal steak spice, seared in a pan with oil, and finished in the oven. I would definitely recommend this if you like roast beef, at least one time. The crust is amazing.
Guga your camera skills have improved so much it is amazing. The super zoomed shots of the salt, the rewinding of the dropping of salt are all so crazy good. Props on you!
When I worked at outback I learned our prime rib rub had coffee in it and I started putting small amounts of it in most of rubs I cook with.

Hey Guga, your videos are getting even more amazing and professionally done and fun to watch every day! i have a question: Does adding brown sugar to the rub help in getting better caramelization on the steak? No one: Guga: it is completely different
Guga, as a chef, you guys do phenomenal work! Explaining and teaching, everything is spot on! This video has inspired me to do a weekly steak series for my customers! This is going to be fun! I'm going to expand this to Italian, regional bbq, and regional U.S. flavors. This is one of my favorite videos you have done. Wish I had seen it sooner! Great work my friend!

3 yrs later: how did it turn out? I'm a simple guy from Germany who just likes to cook. My new project is drying foraged mushrooms and grinding them to a powder. To season sauces, soups, butter...you name it! Greetings from the far north of Germany!
The production of this video was cinema grade Guga ... loved the panning and close-ups .. I could almost ... almost taste the steaks
Just tried out the Mediterranean rub today, was pretty good, except I would highly recommend using less turmeric.
