Every great film takes truth from reality. I heard some of my older uncles discussing what Star Wars meant, the whole idea of the “Knights of the Old Republic” when this movie was made and the war between the old and the new republic was raging, and that maybe the culture shift was their plan to hang onto the old freedoms of the land and what it meant to get them. I have a great video of a veteran talking about this sort of thing… 1 minute long

It's been a Year...A year since my Brother passed away in January, last year. Whenever I hear this song, I can't help but cry...He loved Star Wars growing up, even with his disabilities, it made him smile even when life put him threw Hell. He loved Vader, he loved the music, it made him happy even if he couldn't properly say or show it. The day we lost him, and then the day of his funeral...This was played for him, to honour him...We still miss him, every day. But we keep smiling, for him. Because if he could be happy in the dark times, then so could we. I miss you, Drewy...We all miss you...But we will forever love you.

I don't really care when people say that Disney has "ruined Star Wars." No they have not. Disney has pumped out a whole bunch of mindless, soulless "content" and slapped a Star Wars label on it. Actually i did'nt, but this video in my recommended was a surprise to be sure... but a welcome one!

I wish everyone who wasn't born yet could go back to late May 1977 and experience this for the first time on the silver screen. I was a young kid in rural Georgia who dreamed of getting out of there. It was my Tatooine.

My son was born today, on May the 4th. I came to listen to this while rocking my baby boy for the first time.

i just watched it. [spoiler alert] seeing the green saber i was... ok but then you saw just 1 black glove. in my mind i was: wait a moment... then you saw the holder of the lightsaber and the hype level was tremendous high. and when he took the cape. off his head i was all over ❤️ they did a great job on jist showing little pieces only star wars fans will recognize

My father introduced me to Star Wars and the first episode I have ever watched was ROTS which is still my favorite to this day. Not so long ago me and my father decided to watch all of the movies once again this. It was one of the greatest moments of my life because usually he is very occupied by his work, when watching ROTS with him it was incredible I felt like a kid watching it again with his dad.
