​I'd beg to differ. Liam Neesan as Qui-Gin is fantastic. The politics, although slow, clearly communicate Palpatines beginnings rising to power, and the Podrace is pretty dang good even if a bit far fetched and has phenomenal​ sound design. Sure the spacing and pacing of events, and the use of Jar Jar could've been done quite better, but I find for a movie that has to be the establishing movie for the large scale of the prequels and retroactively work as the new beginnings to the franchise it does a lot of great world building. It's not fantastic, but I wouldn't say Duel of Fates is the *only* good part, even if it's still the best @@theolwinkledink

I was nine when I was lucky enough to see the avant-premiere of the movie, with a live symphonic orchestra playing the score. It was epic beyond what my brain could comprehend at the time, and agruably what it would be able to today either. This is one of my most vivid memory of my entire life. I can see the theater seats when I listened to it, 23 years later. Damn... what an experience. I feel blessed for having felt such emotion at least once in a lifetime.

IMO, this is one of the greatest pieces of cinematic music ever composed. The depth of emotion. It depicts the sense of urgency and desperation in the score. You can feel the tension, you can feel that whatever is happening, the stakes are high. This may actually be the best thing that ever came out of Star Wars as a whole. And I’ll die on that hill.

John Williams, may this GENIUS live on forever like Yoda once did. The world wouldn't be the same again without this man and his phantastic music ! As far as I know the lyrics are a real existing language from planet earth. A language not many people still talk or even understand. And languages you don't understand sound a bit more threatening to ears and minds. Perfect choise ! Somehow I LOVE that Sanskrit thing, even if some say it's about a cooking recipe :-)

We practiced everyday for close to three months to make sure we got it correct. We also had the orchestra for the performance and as you can imagine, it was awesome.

John Williams liked Sanskrit translation the most, but he rearranged the words to fit the music, so the lyrics you hear in Duel of the Fates barely resemble the original poem/translation and don't really make sense: Korah Matah Korah Rahtahmah Korah Rahtamah Yoodhah Korah Korah Syahdho Rahtahmah Daanyah Korah Keelah Daanyah etc. I don't know which article to link, but you can just look up the lyrics from my original comment and you'll find a lot of articles about how Duel of the Fates was created.
