Stanley Cook Set - Hack #8 - Stow-N-Go Oven Kit

Important information and tips below: Having a compact oven kit for your Stanley Cook Set is a dream come true! Now you can bake bread, brownies, muffins or whatever your culinary heart desires! And, because it takes up very little to no extra space in your kit, it makes it just that much better and more versatile.
A couple of tips:
1. Don't use flame, use the oven over coals only.
2. Make sure the coals aren't too hot, silicone will melt above 450-500 deg. F or 232-260 C.
3. Make sure the silicone muffin cup doesn't touch the sides.
4. Put the silicone muffin cup toward the front.
5. Turn the muffin around at least once halfway through.
6. Cook time is between 4-8 minutes, depending on how hot the coals are.

While there are several ways to make an oven for the Stanley Cook Set, I wanted to have one that I could pack without taking up any interior volume without being in the way all while being lightweight and easily packable. So, this is my design, I hope you like it. Thank you for watching and please leave me a comment in the section below!

Would've liked to see you putting the "shelf" back in the pot. That being said it's very ingenious. I suggest you cut out the rest of the silicone muffin cups & shelf pieces & use for family kits or gifts to friends. They might need the pot cozy as well. Great addition to a kit. Oh. And you could use that setup to make "s'more" or other chocolate dessert too. Aka: choc chips with granola for a "cookie" or choc chips with leftover soft rice for a gluten free dessert ( as long as choc chips are gf).

John, I'm pretty sure 2 single individual baking cups will. Aka cupcake cups. Sold in a set of 12. Walmart and most grocery stores should sell them. Also available on Amazon.

If they are the small ones, I believe they would. Good point. You might also find a rectangular one that would work also and give you more volume. I believe you can find them in a single silicone mold of four or six cavities.

Get the stainless cup and coozie, and the spoon and you will have a pot that is useful right off the bat, then decide if the other mods fit into your routine as you use the set more and more.
