Staib 4.1mm milanese mesh watch band review and comparison to other mesh straps

Staib mesh bands are considered among the best aftermarket mesh bands out there. There is no doubt as to their quality construction, but I found this 4.1mm thick mesh to not be as comfortable as I expected.

Brilliant review!! Exactly what I wanted!! The staib mesh looks incredible, but my wrist is the same as yours - about 17.5cm, so perhaps clasp might be irritating too?? With the citizen mesh that you like, do you feel safe using it for activity, like running or swimming in the ocean? I want a strong, solid but comfortable strap for swimming in the ocean. Thanks 🙏🏼

I would probably opt for a clasp that has a secondary lock for activities like swimming. The newest Citizen mesh bracelets appear to look like the one on my video but additionally have a secondary flip lock that secures the clasp. That should significantly reduce the chance of accidental opening.

I love mine and find it very comfortable. If you have small wrists then it’s probably too substantial, just depends.

Agree, would like to try the butterfly clasp version at some point, that might work better for me.

@@omegawatchfan I was thinking the same, BUT, butterfly clasp doesn’t have micro-adjust, only 5mm option adjust, instead of 2.5mm like the pusher clasp you have… small detail, but can make a difference….

Sorry to ask, but what is your wrist circumference? Mine is 19 cm long and it seems to fit between the two sizes m (155mm) and L (175mm). Which bracelet length did you choose, because the adjustment range of these bracelets is not too large.

No problem, it's about 17.5 and this is the smaller size staib bracelet. I'd prefer to use the smaller bracelet on it's largest size than the other way around since these are heavy.

Hi, the part number for the Citizen mesh is 59-S06817, it is great quality. I believe the Hadley Roma is no longer made, and the Hamilton mesh shown is part number H695385101. A little more expensive, but excellent quality as well.

I really like the Citizen. It is the band that comes with watch model CA0331-56L (and others too). Considering it was about $40, it is really good. Also, it has no branding on it so works with any brand of watch.

I have just got the Hamilton band and I have no idea how to adjust when the watch is in my wrist.. simply doesnt make any sense at all to me.

The new 20mm Hamilton mesh works differently from the one in the video....it uses a folding clasp which has to be adjusted (on the 6 o'clock side) with some trial and error until you have it in the right location.
