STAIB mesh bracelet for 20mm watches - unboxing and first impressions.
I pulled the plug on a German made STAIB mesh bracelet for my omega Seamaster watches, this is just a quick video about the unboxing and how it looks on a watch and on the wrist.
The videos I make on my channel are to help other watch community fans when trying to pick a new accessory for their pieces, thanks for joining in, cheers!

Thanks for a great review of these watch bands, I have always wondered what they were like since I saw Marc from long island watch introduce them.

It’s spot on for the Electric Blue Seamaster. Think it would work fine on a Speedmaster too...😊

I agree, the bracelet could go with either or, I prefer to wear it in the summer which is associated with water (sea, lake, etc)… Thanks for passing by !

Got the micro adjustment satin brushed one for my omega smp for the summer and just love! I didn’t get the polished due to the clasp being a scratch magnet and it matches great w/the case of the watch, which is a mix between polished and brushed.

Can’t go wrong with that clasp and at times I wished I’d have gone that way too, I like the elegant touch of this clasp but the micro adjustment option is very important, congrats on your bracelet!

I buy polished mesh strap but with thickness 3mm and it's The best thickness of mesh is 3mm like the bond watch strap and I recommend this size more than this will not be comfortable on your wrist 💯 👍🏽

@@piotr4888Hi Piotr, depends on the clasp you pick, I got the butterfly style one and that one has no micro adjustments, for you I’d say the 15cms may work just fine or pick the 17cms with micro adjustments. I wear this bracelet in summer months and I prefer my watches lose when is hot, that’s something else for you to consider.

Hello Danny, I liked the review a lot. Congratulations. I have a question: I want to buy a 22mm Staib for a Breitling Navitimer. The original Breitling mesh is 750EUR at the dealer, so, I will go with the Staib. (the Breitling ones are made by Staib, too). I have the same issue as you: 15 or 17 cm?!?! I bought the Navi on leather strap and became curved in time. I do not know if it is correct to measure the leather strap only. Can you tell us the size of your wrist? It would help a lot. Thank you and have a great weekend.

Hi Costin, my pleasure to help my friend! my wrist oscillates between 6 3/4” on cold and 7 1/4” in summer or in hot weather, that being said it’s mostly at 7”. I purchased the 17cms staib and ended up removing all 4 links (2cms less) so now it’s at 15cms because it’s a bit heavy, I needed it a bit tighter so it doesn’t move up and down the wrist too much. Hope this makes sense. What’s your average wrist size?

@@cuestion-de-tiempo Hi Danny, My wrist is 17cm in the morning and probably a little bigger after a long walk. But I have another small particularity: I am 185cm with 81kg. A skinny one, you might say. My wrist is verry non-fat, the following 5 cm (going to the elbow) is a little thinner and after this, the forearm start to get thicker. I discovered that during the day, after gym or swim or long walks, the wrist swollows with aprox .5 cm. I want to purchase the Staib for a 41mm Navitimer A23322. I will try to find a 22mm bracelet on another watch, to put it on and measure it, as you are showing in the video. Comming back: I installed and sized a Pro2 bracelet from a SuperOcean SteelFish. The Pro2 measured is 145mm from springbar hole to springbar hole and 150mm with endlinks. are you able to measure your Seamaster 9link bracelet from springbar hole to springbar hole?

@@costinbarzon1704 of course my friend - I just measured my Seamaster 3 link bracelet from end link to end link it’s 15.5 cms and from springbar hole to hole is 14.5cms. Two things are you planning on wearing your Navi at the gym or after the pool or in hot weather when your wrist expands? Do you wear your watches tight or a bit loose? Also My Seamaster is 48mm lug to lug and needs a 15cms bracelet for my wrist which is pretty much same as yours, hope this helps.

This little comment thread and this video very helpful I just bought the 170mm version and I am worried it will be too large. Also 7inch +/- wrist I have a 2531.80 that I hope to use it a lot on but also some others that might be a little longer in the lug to lug A very similar situation to the video! I think maybe if it is too large I might get a 150mm and try to sell a Frankenstein version with 1/2 170 and 1/2 150mm to someone with a similar situation to all of us. The dreaded in-between wrist size. I don't as much fancy the idea of buying a 150 and adding many links. I think it looks better with less links installed.

@@Mint-cb2vc I think you will do fine with the 17cms and remove links as needed, I removed them all to get it to 15cms and it’s a tad long, in summer with heat and sweat it fits just fine plus in summer I like them lose to allow air flow under the arm. Show me the strap in IG, I’d like to see it ! Cheers mate
