The toned down treble makes these speakers quite easy to listen to.

I would put these on my consideration list of very small, slightly bright or crisp sounding, power efficient speakers, however at $279 a pair at reputable dealers, they aren't the best value as far as I can asses, but they do fullfill most of the requirements I'm searching for fairly well, and are better in some ways than the speakers available for less. Hmmm.🤔

Interesting as I've never heard any set of PSB speakers described as 'crisp' or 'bright'. I have not heard these in person, so maybe they are the first.

@@ytj22 Listening again, as it's been months since I wrote that and heard this demo, I'd say they actually sound on the warmish side, except for a subtle shimmer in the treble wich may not even be a rise in level. That was my impression at the time.
