As far as I know these pistols are produced by HS Croatia as „H11“, Springfield only labeling and selling as „Hellcat“. Great subcompact, very accurate 👌

I've looked in the manual booklet and it says to "lightly oil moving parts". Where all would you say needs oil? Every friction surface and moving parts including springs and internal gear movement points such as the sear assembly?

Any idea if I'll lose any important functionality by reassembling the gun without the magazine blocking lever? I believe its only purpose is to prevent a magazine from being in the gun when field stripping it, but mine rattles all the time, even when a magazine is inserted which is super annoying.

  • @deucedeuce1572

@@kre8elapache802 Was wondering the same. On the P320, you can completely remove the takedown-safety lever (that is also the magazine block) and the gun will fire/work 100% normally. The only difference is that you'll have to pull the trigger to disengage the dear to disassemble (...and that you won't have the magazine block anymore either). Otherwise though, it's no big deal at all to just completely remove it. Some people do just because it's a hassle to reinstall and it offers no real protection of any kind. You have to lock the slide back to turn the take-down lever anyways, so it would be Really Hard to accidentally take it down with a magazine installed.

When the magazine is in it doesn’t move as much since there’s less space to move. But I can pull it in and out about a quarter of an inch. Maybe it’s just how it’s designed some hellcats don’t do that. It is really annoying though I’ll probably sell it. It does it regardless of if the slide is cocked or not.

@@John-pq8zo Heard this from other people too. Someone mentioned taking it out, but I'm not sure if anyone tried. I know the similar part in a P320 can be removed without any problems. It just removed tha magazine block and makes it so you can take the slide off without having to pull the trigger. You have to lock the slide back to turn the take-down lever anyways, so the take-down-safety lever isn't really necessary. Just have to pull the trigger to take the slide off though, which isn't a big deal, because you KNOW the gun isn't loaded when you lock the slide back to turn the take-down lever.
