Get a life
Going into my 4th week staying consistent after a 2 year break from the gym. Thank you Sam for reminding me that the first and biggest step is just to get my ass back in there and staying with it.
I needed your motivational speech about consistency. Thanks man. First time coming to your channel. You are killing it.
I turned 40 last November, finally got my ass back in the gym in February, been hitting it hard 3 to 4 days a week plus getting ~10K steps a day average. Now I feel weird if I go two or 3 days without going to the gym, in 3 months I feel better than I have in a decade and I’m finally starting to see significant results. Channels like this are my new evening television. I had a heart attack at the age of 36, it didn’t kill me.. now I can say it legit made me stronger! Not stopping til shred town!
I'm not a body builder at all, but get Sam's intensity and overall humanity. A man that young who can, in the most non nonsense way, communicate the essence of his training and thoughts on that training....is very refreshing.
Thanks for explaining your warm up process a little. Usually, I just hop in raw and do a warm up set I'd that. All about getting a little activation to prevent things getting wonky.
The legs are getting gnarlier during this cut. The cut is the revealing phase after a bulk, I am starting to see all my work during my previous bulk now that I'm cutting. I discovered veins that I had which I never saw before, it's a literal transformation.
This post workout car talk was amazing, keep up the great work Sam💪💪🫶🏼

Asking someone who genuinely enjoys being in the gym, how they stay consistent is futile - we stay consistent because we fucking love lifting weights. The trick is to ask someone who genuinely dislikes going to the gym how THEY stay consistent, because that's when you'll get a real answer - it's fucking hard work and you just need discipline. For people like Sam and I, we go to the gym consistently because we fucking love it - we don't have to force ourselves to get there, if anything, we have to force ourselves to take time OFF from it.

How did I end up watching hour long videos of a bodybuilder doing pretty much the same thing every video and actually enjoy it
I really liked this one and did back today before seeing this video. I guess this education is setting in and I am doing this subconsciously. Results are starting to show!
i felt that. gym becomes second nature if you go basically everyday, learn a ton of movements. eventually your gonna catch yourself just going thru the motions because you do it everyday. at that point you gotta bring the intensity more and more. up the weights more and more

THank you for the motivation and education
17:30 , the answer to that question is 'create a habit', once you create a healthy habit suittble for you, you become really consistent over period of time. in my case, i created a ritual as follows, as its 3:30 pm on the clock, i turn on my pc, play sam's workout video, put on my gym clothes and eat my pre workout meal, and boom im in my gym by 4:15 pm. I had problems witt being cosistent also, but now its been 7 weeks without missing a lift.
The one thing I take from this guy is SIMPLICITY life is simple the GYM is simple we just have to get these freaky pumps !!!!
Looking lean, fit, strong and healthy at this size/weight. Prime living.
I love watching a Sam video while eating my breakfast
Im synced 1 day behind sam so I can always watch him do the workout Im about to do tomorrow, just that sams arm day is my restday xd

Hey Sam do you take exercise calories away from your calorie intake to stay in deficit or is your deficit based purely off your food intake
Such a nice dude ! 😄
When you are doing rows it is better to go one side at a time or both at the same time when you have the choice like when he was hitting chest supported rows
The wheels are looking mighty fine!
WE LOVE THE EATING AND TALKING CONTENT BRUH KEEP THEM COMING😭😭🙏
Been fortunate to drop 140 lbs the last 2 years through lifting 6-7 days a week and doing 20 minutes of cardio every day. The last two weeks my wife asked to join me to help get her started with lifting. I’m super happy she’s getting back into her health, but selfishly it’s affected my lifts (no music, more talking, less focus on just me). Any advice on how to be supportive of my wife (my top priority) and still get same quality of lifts I was before?
@Oozaru997
27 күн бұрын
I mean help her with her set, once she's done go bonkers on yours while she is resting. I train with my friend and like we talk and joke around in between sets, but lock in immediately when lifting resumes.

Sam you should hit every gym in the US
I like the going to the gym I make progress there are people there girls and stuff and it’s just fun
Question: I’ve started doing and tracking cardio, should I also track the estimated calories burned during the actual workout?

Sizzlin’ steak intro goes so hard
I see the final form and civilization and humanity here. Poetic.
This is going to sound crazy but the best way to get a perfect crust on a steak is to put a bowl of water or something heavy on the steak to keep the pressure down on the steak it works but do what ever you wanna do
