Why is the city letting this go on so long? This could have been solved after the property was professionally surveyed by a licensed surveyor and the results submitted to the city. Pathetic city civil servants!

@T Curry Hi, I'm not sure what JoAnn is using, but the type I use will dry on the plant, and when water is introduced such as dew or manually sprayed, it allows the plant to absorb it down to the roots. Namaste 🙏🏼

He would look forward to his executive duties all week to rest up from last weekend and gear up for next weekend's hard labor. He loved it! My Gentleman Farmer dad.

YES...and it would be a SHAME, redzot, IF one or more of the neighbors who heard Joanne yelling and screeching and carrying on so loudly called the police (4 or 5 times in a week) and complained she was disturbing the peace...and you could show the video of her doing it to them. But, that would require you and McKenzie both to NOT also be yelling at Joanne and disturbing the peace. (Oh how we all wish you two could try hard to stay on the high road in all of this while you are documenting what Joanne does to and on your property...because a judge, or a DA, or a jury would more than likely see how YOU behaved favorably in comparison to Joanne.)

I lived next door to an elderly couple, she was fine when we first moved in, but over time,I would hear them yelling at each other. They didn't come outside, tho. One day the old gentleman told us, that he couldn't control her any more, and she had gone into a facility. He was heartbroken.

I think dementia has crumbled any decent personality Joanne might have had in the past. She is cognitively gone, no control of herself anymore. It is so sad that an already very sick elderly person isn't being properly cared for. She needs to be in a care home because her demise has gone past what her husband can deal with and she is a danger to herself and others.

They’ve probably dealt with her before and don’t want to deal with her. If it were me I’d just pay my attorney to figure the highest nastiest ugliest most horrible looking wall you could build facing their direction. Have the attorney figure out every last city ordinance for noise, light, etc and I’d do all that right up to the limit 24/7. If the courts and local government won’t in force the law - use their laws to your advantage. And when Karen tries to push back it will force the city to do something. I know this sounds petty but sometimes you have to think outside the box. My parents had to do that with a neighbor that complained about their dog barking at night - mind you they have 40 aces and live in the country and the dog lived inside. This went on for months, if not years; screaming and yelling toward them. Letters from the township, you know the drill. So they got ag status, established a farm name, bought big tractor - removed big tractors muffler, had their 15yo son (me) do “tillage and field work” ALL NIGHT LONG in the field next to the neighbors house, did this off and on almost every night for weeks. Went from a barking collie to diesel powered unmufflered all night noise maker that was completely legal.

I can understand that some days you just have to engage. The awful woman's sweet little dog absolutely loves the neighbors that she hates so much. He runs over to say hi every chance he gets and is ALWAYS greeted with warm and generous scritches. Feel as bad for the dog as I do her husband. They used to be friends.

This solution is simple. Hook that fence to a tow strap and pull it down with your truck. It's on YOUR property it's now YOUR fence. File a restraining order against Karen to keep her off your property. Let KAREN take you to court. Show ALL your proof from videos and records there and then. There is NO WAY in hell she'll get away with this.

This is a fact years and years ago in hazard Kentucky a couple were sitting outside their house enjoying the morning when a construction company truck pulled up to the lot next door and started going to work. They waved at the couple sitting on their porch couple waved back and the construction company commence to building a house. Fast-forward a month or two and the construction they put signs in the yard that they will start showing the house the next day. The next day when the construction company gets there to start showing the house the couple who were sitting on the porch next door had moved into house, they built the house in the wrong spot and now the house belonged to the people who own the property. That would be the couple sitting on their porch who watched someone build them a house. Lesson here is jerk the fence down, and put a tall one up. The fence now belongs to you.

I live in Tennessee, and this is NOT A UNCOMMON PROBLEM!!!! I had to deal with a crazy neighbor for several years, we got lucky and they sold their house and moved out!!!! LOL 😂 We got lucky and they sold out to a really NICE couple, we have introduced ourselves to them and will get along great!!!! They're a young couple with a small son, that are very easy going!!! We are going to do a cookout together this summer. I can only hope that she gets committed to a home soon for your sake!!!! I'm so sorry that you are still having to put up with this crap !!!!!

Yes... moving markers is a crime... but lawyers cost a LOT of $$ just to take your case and the courts are jammed with cases so you are literally looking at yrs before it may even go to court.

I had some problems once with neighbors and I had a survey done showing exactly the truth (dealing with set backs and not fences), when it came time for the hearing, I had everything documented and all they had was unfounded accusations. I wasn't dealing with the court, I was dealing with the county and the code enforcement officials. They took it on the word of some of the neighbors and we proved that it wasn't true. Some of it came down to how you interpret the law, and fortunately the lawyer who was there to look out for the best interests of the county, sided with us and then convinced the members of the board.

Remember This . LAUGH & SMILE (every time) your neighbor sees you , And when she is talking , L A U G H even harder . this will keep her pea brain racing and will destroy her from the inside out .

1- Put up a video here for a gofundme. I'm in for the first $100. Involve local media and see if you can get some free publicity. 2- See what you get and hire the best lawyer you can with the money you get. 3- Don't give the lawyer hours of video (they'll charge you for it). Summarize it, but make it available to the lawyer. 4- Let them do what they do. 5- Win, they remove the fence. Sue for damages. See if they'll take a percentage of that claim (it'll be a challenge with the assumption they don't have any equity in that s--thole house). 6- After they pay your lawyers (I wish I had my license. I'd do it for free- someone on here HAS to know someone in your area that'll have some fun with this), with what you have left, we have a BIG party in your back yard with remaining funds. You're bound to get damages for this (settle for a couple hundred a month for years and years).

She put the fence on his land….yes remove it and put it on the far side of his land so that she has to look at what she lost every day, and realize she can’t do anything about it.

I agreed with you asking her to stop spraying and also watering your side to mitigate the grass killer. But, as hard as it is, I wish you could not respond to her ravings. Do not lower yourselves to her standards. Just continue to pray for her. That is your way to success.

If you want the plate covered you may want to take this down and fix it

It would have caused far less attention to just leave it alone. Besides, it's a public license plate. I do automotive content and never blur tags.

I do pray for you & your girl and Karen and especially her hubby, she sounds possessed truly. I couldn't do that verbal basket ball. I personally would have just watered like crazy. And maybe just maybe dress in dark clothes on a dark night and come in a rental car, plates covered and sprayed some writing on her lawn. Crazy Woman Here or Demonic House Beware. That's just me. I only come here to hear Karen say "kiss my azzzzz" But seriously, how is this lady so mean all the time? I too have a Karen neighbor who fights with me over our property line. Not to this extent. I've ignored her for years. I've realized that once you get to a certain age all you have is your yard.
