This is what my guild taught me. I didn't know we could do all these back then.

i find double switching easier with my keyboard. what i do is set c,v,b,n to weapon 1,2,3,4. and the space bar is previous weapon. i shoot-shield-slide thumb across space and c,v,b or n-repeat. i find that scroll wheel is a bit too much on my fingers haha.

I put fire as mouse1, shield as mouse2 and switch as mouse3(the scroll button). so yeah, my mouse died.

I decided to come back to SK and had to refresh my mind, luckily I'm getting the hang of it quickly, and decided to start working on finishing my gunslinger buiild... doing this to spam the polaris (solo obviously) is so fun after having played melee for all my life, and now I'm working on a nova driver after seeing the umbra work so well with this. Also... I never get tired of seeing your fingers dance like that on the mouse, it's as fast as a macro but super elegant!

Also what do you use to attack, shield, and single switching w1,w2,w3,w4? I need help I keep doing the 3 attack hits on gun

Question, why doesn't your weapon wheel show up when you switch weapons? I'm doing it like you said, but switching weapons takes a lot of time unless I shield to cancel the switching animation... Has the method changed or something?

The weapon wheel is something you can disable in settings. As for the method itself, nothing has changed but getting the fastest possible weapon swaps requires a frame perfect shield at the start.

I don't know if you mention ur key setup? Sry if you do but are you using right mouse for action, mouse click for shield and scroll for weapon switch???

Hey there, I'm using right click for shooting, scroll wheel for weapon swap, wasd for moving, and x for shield. If your fingers are double jointed then this should work for you too, otherwise hitting x for shield may be tougher.

wow thanks so much for the reply, I started doing mine with right mouse shoot, wheel click defend and wheel scroll switch cuz I thot that's what u were doin and thot it would save time but I'm not sure if that's gonna hinder me in the future. People say it is faster to keybind weapons 1/2 rather than using prev/next weapon, is that true?

This is actually true, it saves a frame on each swap. I don't do it myself since I don't have a mouse with extra buttons on the side, but you can get the equivalent of an extra ASI low by having your controls set up like that. If you only use two weapons, make sure to set the weapon 1/2 as scroll up/scroll down rather than just next/previous weapon!

Also how long did it take you to understand your weapon switch?

A lot of people I've talked to have said my setup is uncomfortable - the reason it works for me is that my fingers are double jointed, so I bend my finger on the d key back to hit the x key, but I know that's not ideal for everyone.

My particular setup, I have no idea. However, weapon switching can be done with whatever control scheme feels right for you, so I'd suggest testing things out and seeing what you like.

I want a mix or orbitgun 😭😭😭

I use Q, E, C, Space

I thought you were so good because I thought you played with a touchpad on the laptop never knew you played with a mouse. But awesome tips
