Have had my penn pursuit 2 4000 series reels since I was a small kid they’re good can’t complain for the price. Affordable seems and looks quality and I’ve definitely caught fish with em so what else can I say. They’re worth it

Yah it’s always unfortunate when it happens. But for the price they’re great reels. I’ve had a handful of them for over 3 years through client useage and they’ve been through some rough hands and still working smoothly. I’m average probably only a 2-3 year lifespan though in salt water. The Spinfisher on the other hand I have has shown zero signs of wear and that’s been dunked a number of times

It’s surprise how long they can last if you maintain them good. Now the problem is that I can’t find the bearing no where do you mind telling me where did you buy yours? I got the penn Pursuit 3 6000

Killer, I thought I was going to have to chuck my 3000 in the trash pretty soon. That's a cheap fix, they really are great reals.

Where did you buy the replacement?

My penn persuit 4 4000 like the golden rotator thing in the anti reverse broke in half and idk how😭

Will a 4000 gear fit in my 2000? Have a fishing trip and got a broken 4000 sitting around.

@@surffishinginsocal I already disasembled them and they were the exact same. I put it back together and it worked but the damaged gear slightly damaged the other. Its close to smooth so it'll work for tomorrow.
