@@tramash1646 I think that Kirsten Dunst did a pretty good job as MJ and I don’t think she deserves as much hate as she gets, but I think you’re probably right. I think that maybe Kirsten Dunst should’ve played Gwen Stacy instead of MJ and she would’ve actually died when she gets dropped off the bridge in the first movie. That would’ve been more comics accurate to how that scene originally went down.

There's definitely a maternal vibe to it, which in a way is deeply sad. Actual moral support should not be unthinkable for a man's love interest, which is why there are hundreds of comments here saying that MJ was the worst woman in the franchise.

The supportive energy from Betty to Peter in the 1st movie beats Mary Jane's from 1 - 3 completely. Betty is a keeper.

Given Peter's reaction, it clearly isn't the case. To him, Jameson saying that is one of his ways saying "Dismissed." The only time Jameson actually means it is to Eddie. Tone and attitude in such sentences does matter in this case.

My mind is constantly blown by how wild the Hollywood movie industry is. Elizabeth Banks was initially cast for a couple of years, made recurring appearances for over half a decade, probably was involved in preliminary photography over the span of months, spent numerous: hours, days, weeks, maybe months rehearsing and preparing and after all that it's been distilled into 3 minutes of screen time... wild.

I always hated Movie MJ, she’s not supportive, she’s not nice, she’s extremely insecure when another girl talks to Peter! When Peter is supportive and tries to be nice she snaps at him and so much more Makes me dislike the ending of Spider-Man 2 because I know their relationship will be negative. I wish he ended up with someone else but I think we’re in the logical group that hates this MJ

If any of you guys watch anime,you probably now that Peter or Spidey is called the 'harem protagonist'.Just look at him! If we can get a series only abot Spider-man or Peter hanging out with the ladies,I am all up for it! Of course with all the classic Spider-man stuff. Just my opinion tho.

the organized chaos energy of the Bugle has always been the highlight of all Raimi spiderman films. on point performance and direction from all involved.

Some of the incidental cuts are perfect. When she looks toward Peter's belt line and says she can see that and the "What's that smell? Go away." came out great.

Fun fact : Robbie Robertson 1:48(guy holding the mask) knew that Peter Parker is Spiderman all along. You can even see his concern towards Peter Parker or Spiderman in some scenes throughout the trilogy. Sam Raimi pulled it off smoothly
