    @@johnnydeppisarapistjohnnyd8962 hi @pound. If I get this right outside of myself you are the only person I have seen that has not said anything mean about amber. CORRECT? by the way amber was forthright about her lifestyle. e.g. consuming magic mushrooms. How come her ex did not offer, as amber did, the truth about his abuse of substances, especially alcohol. I almost forgot alcohol is the sacred cow of drugs. It does not count. He was on t.v. using the word "assassination" in the same sentence as the loser trumps name. I know he is not stupid but he was stumbling with slurred speach, back to his old self. But saying that sentence was not wise. No matter where he goes the secret service will be following & watching him. He will not have any kind of privacy. His behavior will exonerate amber. I think she is already aware of this.

I wanted to strangle her the first time sitting through this, like “you think we’re dumb enough to not know the difference between ‘pledged’ and ‘donated’???” Ugh. And her analogy to try to help herself was just awful: “that’s not how this works! When you buy a house you don’t pay it all off at once!” I wished Camille would have said back to her “true, but if you miss your payments they’ll foreclose and you’ll be out on the street, so here’s your foreclosure notice!”

    You can see the moment where she see's she has lost control of this situation and tries the tears. When she started crying saying "I didn't want a prosecutor" that tells me she wanted a settlement. Women do get victimized by abusive men often and our society has done a lot to try and help them, to the point where the woman is believed over the man in many cases. Some can take advantage of this to try and bend the system to there own financial benefit and with the abondance of settlements among the rich to make problems go away it can be very profitable to manufacture an abusive relationship. Her fake charity pledge did it for me.

    @@artyomarty391 You're right, however, if the abuser refused to look into the eyes of their victim it's because they know they're in the wrong and only then do they feel guilty because they got caught. Johnny told Amber she would never see HIS eyes again before this entire trial, insinuating that Amber doesn't deserve to be treated with any amount of respect. If Amber avoided eye contact, I think this case would be already over.

  • @artyomarty391

    @artyomarty391

    @@smeef2757 An abuser almost never acknowledges he was an abuser. An abuser/narcissist could just abuse someone, but not see his actions as abuse, and then when his "victim" snitches to the public/parents/friends/etc, the abuser might feel betrayed and as vengeance make his victim suffer even more by completely ignoring them (aka not looking at them) Matter of fact thats pretty much how all very romantic love relationships end - one partner starts to completely ignore the other, either out of deep hatred or loss of interest, and whether or not abuse was involved is irrelevant. I personally would interpret JD's decision to ignore her this way, as him having very deep (negative) emotions towards her. I mean, every minute he makes a conscious effort to not look at her, when shes right in front of him. This takes dedication and such dedication can only come from someone who has very deep feelings towards another person. Maybe JD felt betrayed by her, maybe he felt she hated him, mentally abused him, maybe he just despises her for what she had done to his career, maybe he cant get over her cheating and borderline personality. Maybe he just wants her to suffer and to miss his warmth, because deep inside he is still attached to her and so her suffering without him makes him feel better. Or maybe he was abused... I mean, there are so many reasons why a man can make a conscious decision to ignore an ex, most of which dont have to involve abuse. I would imagine he feels she was just so controlling, mean spirited towards him, self-centered, and cheated on him and didnt value him, and all these negative associations with her makes him hate her, and thats why he does not want to give her his warm look. But none of the above is "abuse". Lastly, very manipulative people oftentimes use this tactic to a huge advantage. For example, a partner does not like something or just wants more attention to appease his/her ego, so this partner just straight up ignores the other partner. In this case, this partner has all the power in a relationship, while the weaker partner just constantly tries to appease and not be ignored. The person who can ignore, is always the one with power and therefore more manipulative, this is true for pretty much every relationship

    @@hypernymous6852 it also helps female victims bc the world has now seen what it looks like to lie through your teeth on the witness stand. If you’re going to court, you need evidence. That’s just the way it works. When you make outlandish claims about being raped with a bottle that you think is broken, you require serious medical attention. When you say you’ve been pummeled in the face by a fist full of rings, you’re going to have medical records reflecting the reconstructive surgery you would require. Etc. I think this case really cements the idea that we should trust but verify. You can be trusting of a person’s story, but you can also respectfully require verification. Physical evidence doesn’t even need to be that verification. You KNOW when someone is telling the truth about these things. Amber was blatantly lying.

After the confrontation , she created even more fake stories/ dramas trying to get rid of us. Toxic to max. Exactly like AH.
