To be fair with the walking out on her wedding… did she really have an alternative choice? It would’ve been worse if she married him and let Peter think she went through with the wedding after she realized she loved him. And as for the actress not being able to take criticism. Yeah, true. But she just had what she thought would be her big break and make her feel like her dreams came true but a critic slammed her and said she did a bad job. That would destroy anyone just starting out in their career even if she was a seasoned professional.

I love how Gwen genuinely likes Peter instead of Mary Jane who had very complicated emotions towards Peter before and even after she knew that he is spiderman

There’s a comic that showed what happened when Eddie became Venom After being shot at by police, Eddie soon realized who Spider-Man was, via knowledge Venom shared Eddie felt he can do anything Peter can, have anything he has He started to sneak in Gwen’s appartment. Stalking her until he saw Captain Stacy’s case file on Sandman, and it gave Eddie the idea to find him and team up with him against Spider-Man. Fortunately leaving Gwen alone for now at least When he caught MJ, he almost assaulted her which Sandman saved her. Reminding Eddie they’re here for Spider-Man only And it was when Eddie felt the Symbiote sense Peter coming, setting the stage of the movie So yes, Eddie been horrible and far worse if he got his way

Remember when her dad and Eddie where wayyyyyyyy to chill about her dangling from a building.

Too be fair In a lot of cases MJ can be seen in the right in her perspective. In Spider-man 2, Peter completely misses all of her plays when everyone else in her life could show up including her abusive father. while misses all of her plays, Peter tries to get back at MJ even though peter friend zoned her in Spider-man 1 so she goes with John Jameson believing he would treat her better. MJ is going through a hard time during Spider-man 3, she lost her dream job and when Peter tries to support her he keeps on relating it to spider-man when it’s completely unnecessary and unrealistic in her perspective. After MJ gets fired at her Job and talks to Peter at the date, when MJ isn’t feeling well, Peter immediately assumes that it’s her getting recognised and refers to back to spider-man always getting reconsigned just because if something is going for him apparently means that everything is has to go good for her So idk, MJ works really well for me In the trilogy. However even though I ‘complained’ about Peter being rude to MJ isn’t the case at all. HES SPIDER-MAN he wouldn’t have time to arrive at her plays. Peter is a very complex person but what makes this all work is that MJ obviously doesn’t know that he’s spider-man until the end of spider-man 2 and all works beautifully in spider-man 3 with Peter growing a huge ego (which works so well with the black suit)

Fun fact. Lee and ditko actually intended for Gwen to be the girl Peter ended up with in the comics, and MJ was only meant to be a first love but since she was loved so much by the audience, they decided to keep her🥴 i definitely prefer her over MJ and I hope Tom hollands Peter meets Gwen soon

Tom Spidey's universe does not have a version of Gwen. Even his MJ is very different version from the standard MJ. And Andrew's universe does not have an MJ, only Gwen

Another detail: Peter has blue eyes and Harry has brown eyes. But in the comics, it’s vice versa.

I really thought Gwen was a bitch and even expecting her to be manipulative to Peter and downright evil to MJ, but after seeing her apologizing to MJ just changes my perspective to her. I thought she's going to be a cliched character like every single love story but here, she isn't. And that amazes me.
