Toby MacGuire is the One True Spiderman.

This movie and Superman (1978) was the only two movies totally capture the very essence of their source material and correctly depict the emotional aspects that made the comic books back in the day worth reading. The train fight in this movie alone was emotional and action-packed.

The Toby Spidermans were a class above everything made later. Awesome script, character development, storyline, special effects used when needed.

It wasn’t an explosion, it was a car through a window 😂

Who also found it badass for him to burst out of that rubble

if doc oc didn't know parker was spiderman- the way he through peter against the wall would most likely have killed any normal human or at least caused permanent damage. he threw him as tho he was a super hero and not a normal person

He always had his powers, never lost them, it was a mental block due to the duality of his existence has Spiderman and peter parker, like if he was 2 completely different persons.

he had a mental block that inhibited his powers. Like a writers/art block, you can't perform well because your head not in the game at 100%. He struggled trying to be Peter and Spider-Man, once he basically got his shit together somewhat, he was able to be a hero again.

Cool scene, but what always bothers me is that Doc Ock needed Peter to be alive and well to get in contact with Spider-Man. Throwing that car at Peter would have killed him if it wasn't for his spider sense. Same with throwing him against the wall with such force. A normal person would have needed hospitalization and not be in a position to find Spider-Man.

This MJ had such an awkward energy in front of Peter I’ll never understand why Peter literally tried to tell her how he felt so many times and yet when he was so close to pop the question to her BOOM she’s suddenly with another guy Not only that she expects him to be at her play always on time not once realizing or even considering he’s Spider-Man it drove me nuts as a kid and it still does as an adult I thank insomniac games for giving me and Peter a good MJ because it’s about time honestly

To be fair She doesn’t know he’s Spider-Man tho until the end climax she finds out the truth the moment she discovers Peter is Spider-Man it all makes sense to her now and he broke a promise that’s why she’s mad at him for not showing up to her play she’s mostly disappointed at him after promising he will make it to her play and not disappoint her but for understandable reasons he doesn’t make it on time to her play and breaks her promise unfortunately

Funny thing I don’t know If this Is the real name of the Cafe but 2 Interesting things I found Is that this cafe has the same name as the restaurant Peter, Mary Jane and Harry go to for Peter’s birthday In the Spider-Man 2 (2004) game and you can also find a promo art of Spider-Man In his suit fighting Doc Ock outside the building, It’s called Village Delicatessen. 😅
