In all honesty both countries are VERY similar from culture, lifestyle, weather and even the languages are very similar! A Spaniard moving to Italy or an Italian moving to Spain would not be that EXTREME! Latin brothers...the Latin brother missing is Portugal! Now I know 🇬🇷 is not a Latin brother but they are like cousins to 🇪🇸 🇮🇹 and 🇵🇹.

To remember the order of the vertical tri-color flags of Europe, always remember "Red on Right" (except Ireland which is Orange). Italy, France, Andorra, Romania, Moldova and Ireland (again, orange not red) all do the same thing.

Back at that time Italy wasn't at that time a unify country and lacks a sense of Nationalism. But also they inspired our French Human Civil Rights the "Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen" in their own way. All thanks to the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte. The order of the colors in the Italian flag is actually quite easy - once you know how to memorise it: essentially, it's Caprese from top. Basil leaves (green), mozarella (white), tomatoes (red). Ciao is a Venetian word derived from "s-ciao" that mean "slave", so ciao litterally mean "I am your slave"/"at your service" And is not the only Venetian word spread worldwide. For example "quarantena", "arsenale", "ghetto" or "pantaloni/pantalone/pantaloon". Fun fact: Pantalone is a Venetian carnival mask, its name is used with the meaning of trousers in a lot of languages, but not in the Venetian language, in Venezia "pantalon" means "fool".

Yes, I'm also Argentinian and we have a lot in common with both these countries! Spain and Italy! I'm proof my ancestors came over from both countries and just like a lot of Argentinian last names are Italian in origin many Argentinian last names are Spanish in origin! Two of the foods we eat the most are PIZZA brought over by Italians and the other food we eat a lot are EMPANADAS brought over by Spaniards! Cheers!👍
