I think our language here in the Philippines is kind a similar to the spanish languange😅 English: How are you? Spanish: ¿Como estas? Filipino: Kumusta? (the pronounciation are kind a similar to the spanish language) I am guessing that the word libre means free in spanish because libre means free in our country English: reservation Spanish: reservacion Filipino: reserbasyon (same pronounciation and meaning in spanish) Spanish: Barato means cheap Bicol (one of the dialect here in the philippines) : barato means cheap (same pronounciation) English: City Spanish: Ciudad Filipino: Syudad (same pronounciation and meaning) English: Family Spanish: familia Filipino: Pamilya (the pronounciation are kind a similar) Spanish: hermanos and hermanas Bicol: hermanos and hermanas (same meaning but the pronounciation are kind a similar but we said it as ermanos and ermanas) English: easy Spanish: facil Bicol: Pasil (same meaning and the pronounciation is almost similar. We say it as Pa-cil) English: difficult Spanish: dificil Bicol: depesil (same meaning and pronounciation) English: movie Spanish: peliculas Filipino: Pelikula English: one-twenty Spanish: es la una y veinte Filipino: Ala una bente English: Phone number Spanish: numero de telefono Filipino: number means numero, phone means telepono I think I can easily learn spanish since filipino and spanish language have words in common. The pronounciation and meaning are kind a similar. We are colonized by the spanish for 333 years and became the language of the Philippine Revolution and the country's first official language, as proclaimed in the Malolos Constitution of the First Philippine Republic in 1899. I am excited to learn more😍 I want to learn spanish language

I'm using now some of the words I learned from watching here ..thank u
Thanks for making me learning Spanish 😊
As a native spanish speaker some of the translations were very literal, and in real life they wouldn’t really be used, but they mostly did a good job. For example: “I’m free” “Estoy libre” Estoy libre is very literal, and it could imply you’re free from jail, or the law, or slavery, etc., which I guess is not what they were trying to show here, we could say, “Estoy desocupado.”

Estoy libre también se usa para decir que no tienes nada que hacer y suena muy natural.
